Priceless,, just insane and I thought 400htt/fsb was great:up:
Those are some hellaciously sweet results there. :) Weren't you playing with a a 45nm ES a while back? The board, HSF, and RAM look familiar.
P.S. Is that a Xigmatek 1283 I see there? :D
^^ FSB 500 GET
http://www.coolaler.com.tw/toppc/DAK790GX/500CPUZ.JPG
Holy crap:shocked: That's some nice work there! I never thought to see that to be honest, especially not since there isnt much of a run on HTT's:up:
how can you get your FSB (going with what cpuz calls it) up to 2500. i havnt ever seen a mobo with an X2 break 1500ish.
is it taking crazy volts to the NB? or is it just that i havnt been paying attention?
FSB <480
NB 1.2V
HT 1.2V
FSB>480
NB 1.4V
HT 1.4V
I have a lot of AMDs test

Im just really curious, why are you using cpuz version 1.43,1.47.3, 1.46 and 1.41??
wow i really need to play with my K9A2 Plat.
how much of a difference is it really to have double the bus and HT but the same ram and cpu speeds?
basically 200x10 vs 400x5, will i see like 2-3% or alot more?
Well on a standard home computer environment with only a single processor, I would say you would probably get about 1-2% improvement. The HTT bus already communicates very quickly and 1 processor doesnt stress it. You would see a nice improvement in a 4 socket system though :)
My friend of test

Absolute madness....
wicked, have you tried a 9950 in it?
nice..toppc, do u have any next info about Deneb? What is your revisison? C0 or C1? Thx :-)
What advantages do you get from high FSB?
MY NEW FSB TEST ^^

CAN'T UP ><
CL4-4-4-12 ==> FSB 520 ^^

unnecessarily awesome
why do the tighter timings trump the loose timings??
FSB 525 SETUP!

What's you're highest fsb with a phenom?
as a quick response I get miniscule increse going from 200 to 270 im talking milleseconds, now the thing is hes pushing the fsb high but the cpu is running at very low speeds so really any increase from the fsb is hugely effected negatively from such a low cpu speed
As an example in superpi 275x12.5
http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/j...n771/22359.jpg
ill do 202 x17 and see the result in a minute
FSB :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::ROTF:
HT Ref Clock....
I Want To See Amd Deneb!!!
Very minute differance even @ 3.5ghz:D
http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...i1m3500mhz.jpg
I read somewhere they took a resistor out on part of the cache of the 45nm.
maybe this why less heat and higher clocks.
I found it.
http://www.bmighty.com/blog/main/arc...tting_out.html
I know I know Ive been testing high clocks now in order for me to do 202mhz I have to change AOD and the bios as Im using both to overclock my system
Great score dude very nice:)
My best yet I posted this earlier but I dont think anyone saw it or just wasnt interested:shrug:
I just took 22nd place for AMD Superpi:D
http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/j...1/th_21578.jpg
Im pretty happy I been overclocking since 2002 and never thought I would be able to get on a list like that on air lol:p:
http://ripping.org/benchmarks.php?ac...i=1M&cpuid=AMD
That is better then my best... though I have Gotvoltage by a smidge:p:
http://3800z24.info/Phenom/9950/32bit/Sup_Pi_3.5ghz.JPG
dude thats awsome:clap: you should get it on that list get USA up in there you would be #25:yepp: or for that matter try and knock me down:D would be a nice little competition.
theres only 4 USA in the top 25
TITON is number 1 and 21
k|ngp|n is number 8
and me at number 22
http://ripping.org/benchmarks.php?ac...i=1M&cpuid=AMD
Heres the link http://ripping.org/entry.php?act=superpi
fill out all the info
info that you just cant type in but needs to be included is
cpuz validation, a screenie of your finished super pi run like the one I posted above showing all the info
and a pic of your cooling solution.
that should be it.
Just validated a 220x16 = 3520mhz,, SuperPi 1m = 21.9xx..
Hmm Actually my low HTT runs have the slightly faster Pi so far vs High HTT with PhenomX4.. using high ram freqency ,, i run loose timing,,what my 9950chippy likes.
P.S. i upded the Smudge run i think:D
Toppc :toast: your 500+ runs are Priceless you know ...
toppc do you have anew bios for msi dka790gx..
Toppc ygpm.
toppc you pcb is ver 1.2,what different from pcb ver 1.0 or 1.1
sory for my english
Hi friend...
I am a beginer in AMD...since 2005 i don t work with AMD, and now i have a MSI DKA790GX + Phenom 2 940
I noticed is so diferent than Intel...and i did apreciate your results...
Can somebody share the Bios settings?...i still lost in this plataform...lol
Sorry the broken english...
you know i didnt think i would see a 500 HTT, now i have.
well done
and no need for a video here, not that it would make any differance
:eleph:
I'm really late to the party but seeing this dug up from the depths has me inspired again to see what my Phenom II will do for top HTT. I have no idea how much higher I may be able to go, but when I first got it I went up to 372Mhz without even a hint of problems so maybe I can get more.
525Mhz is absolutely insane though!!!!!
