that looks...heavy?
Thats a bit decieving..
They cut the plugs and threaded them.. Absolutely zero gains..
lol well atleast its shiny...
painful
I'm trying to imagine what this + EK D5 top would look like. That would be a big, heavy, blocky looking pump.
tapping the d5 for g1/4 thread is good, more versatile mounting different barbs. (some may wish for 1/4 id tubing to be used...)
giving it a shiny new skirt is also nice...
Couldn't a skirt do the same thing
I'm kind of dissapointed they made this without any performance improvements.
It's almost............. shall I say.. pointless
I think if it was a whole new modified front with performance gains in addition to the custom rear, then it would be worth it.
Turn your pump into the pump version of a Ricer for only $40!
No need for the use of stereotypical names. I know that you are referring to a select group of automobiles, but keep in mind that not all Asians can appreciate that humor.
Honestly, some of us like myself are highly embarrassed by those automotive trends and do our best to disassociate ourselves from that culture and automobiles.
In my neighborhood, the people who drive those traversties are invariably not Asian.
How would you like it if I were to make other food analogies and called your computer "potato-ed" out or "tortilla-ed" out or "pasta-ed" out?
At an underground race somewhere in the world.
"A Civic with 10sec quarter-mile, dude you totally risottoed that ride!!"
looks like a lot of somebodies buying lunch sometime...
seriously, maybe Vincent has one d5 top mod in the works planned (or ready for release) for this skirt's matching partner...
Very beautiful good job BP ;)
I for one was only interested in the front, but since it does not include it, I'm going to have to pass...
How was my statement even remotely racist?
I did not say "asian'd out"
I said Ricer. Referring to a specific automobile as you said. I was in no way targeting any particular race, as I've seen people from every race drive "ricers"
I sincerely apologize if you took that as racist, as it was not my intent.
All good? :)

Wow,looks sweet!!!:up::shocked:
im tempted..
just for the hell of it.
to make a FULL bling system with my 780i after eva chan is up.
Down to the LED Enzo Luna Cpu block, to the Koolance 9800GX2 LED block. Bling bling LED's everywhere. Just for the hell of it.
Down to the magicool radiator with a LED stuck inside that too. I'll even throw this on my D5 and drop a TOP on it also.
Im seriously tempted just to see what it would do.
you might need these when it's done:D

I have these ready:

I believe iany is errecting a 50 foot wall right now so the light doesnt bleed onto this yard.
Checking the town ordinance with the police to find out the legality of such bling :)
:rofl::rofl:
Ah, looks like you're well on top of Xtreme safety, I shoulda known:ROTF:
Man
As soon as I saw this, I bought it. This is going to make my pump look MUCH better, I really dont mind no gains in performance at all, the final look my 655 will have will be @ss-kicking.
Hmmmm I wonder if this will work with the DetroitAC blocks. I guess the ring can just be two way taped on there as it will have nothing to screw on to. I am sure I can make it work.
Ian, You know how many tool's are in a Rednecks toolbox? One, a Hammer!
:D
after Naekuh's done with all those LEDs and bling bling, he'll have a solid panel for his case, no windows, and say Black is Beautiful... hehehe...
RD30 new skirt sounds good...
R3 you go pm Vincent and get him to make a limited run for RD30s... lets say estimate 50pcs...
This is a good piece for someone like me who had limited mounting space and has their pump completely visible. Adds a nice finishing touch, imo. I'd rather look at that than the stock backing of the MCP655.
Im buying this because I have a problem with the stock housing rubbing up against my video cards. If this works, it should reduce the size of the ring and make the pump more compact. The only thing is, I have a need to tap it like they have in the image since I can add a 45 degree adapter. I have a friend that can do those sorts of things but, im not familiar with the terminology... so i assume if i bring him a barb and show him this picture, he can do something very similar for me and I can finally have something that fits in my case.
Thanks for this link, and thanks to bitspower for bringing me a step closer. Just wish it wasnt so expensive, should be more around the 25$ mark, not 40$.
Oops, missed this thread. I don't think my top would work with that Bitspower cover.
Sabre2, my top is a little more compact than the stock top.
Percussive Modifications! :hammer:
I'd like to use those in my build Detroit. Nice work!
