Yup, Big Pump! Works good though...
I admit it... I use a big pump. Happens to be very similar in specifications to the one I understand Cathar used in his system with his WW. Are you still using a largeish pump Cathar?
Other pumps I have tried with the WW are:
Eheim 1046, Eheim 1048, Maxijet 1200. They vary from 146 to 305 GPH ratings. All worked great, I found the more flow I had the better the results.
This WW block is designed fron the onset to take advantage of the jetting, so more flow=faster jet=better turbulance=better cooling.
I've seen a guy posting about his new radiators that used a 1200 GPH Little Giant on his WW rig, got unbelievable results too.
Soon I'm going to build my chiller so the radiators dissappear (well, go to the dual hot side loops for cooling pelts), and are going to be replaced by custom pelter block which will get chilled buy 4 to 8 peltiers from both sides, in between two other huge copper blocks going to rads...mmmmmm.....cold water at those velocities should work really well for cooling.....
Been kind of busy house hunting though, so it may be a little while before I finish....Here are those blocks if ya have not seen em.
Man, that is on sweet looking waterblock you got there with those chrome fittings Cathar.
Cathar... I'll shoot you a PM about a block I need for cold water, I wonder how cold that clear top can get without cracking? Need somthing to use with these pelt blocks....

Aformentioned pelt blocks....pic attached
I think I'll need an SS with Nylon everything if it can go -30C or better if the lexan or whatever the top is made of can go that low.
Or the block could require an all-metal composition to withstand those kinds of low temps, and I have an all-copper WW for that.
Fist I'll try chilling the WW with these and see the results....
