Team.AU condsolidates with 4 World Records

Hey everyone

I was really frustrated coming back from Hong Kong asus competition, lost alot of confidence there. There weekend was all about getting some of that back and it ended up going really well for me!

1. new FSB wr, 734mhz
Lowering the NB temperature from -188 to -130 really helped me gain the 10mhz I needed.

2. E8400 frequency WR, 6213mhz
Newbeetle just posted an amazing speed with this motherboard but luckily my little board just had the steam to overhaul it.

3. PCMark05 WR, 28414
Ive been after this one for a long while, good to finally work out my i-ram problems and get this done. Unfortunatly due to the high throughput of my i-rams I was unable to submit my run with 3 I-rams to futuremark, but I was able to submit a run of 27117 marks with only 2 i-rams.

4. 3DMark 2001 SLI, 126569 marks
Im really humbled to finally hold this WR. Everyone that knows me well knows this is what its all about for me 3d01. Thanks Team Portugal I learnt a couple things from your in HK that helped me gain a few points with this run, you guys are amazing at 3d01. This will probably be smashed soon with e8600, but Ill enjoy this moment.

man , seeing stuff like this is unreal! i wish i could it the level of knowledge to be in competions, i think getting my q6600 to 3.2 is awsome.. but this is just phenomenal!

Like the others have said, I don't know how you sat on these. I think most of us would have been jumping around stoked with even one of them.

Before I couldn't post because otherwise work would get the :banana::banana::banana::banana:s and now I can't post detailed results because I'm frantically trying to finish testing hardware while launching a new global overclocking e-zine (you'll see it very soon) and trying to organise an OC demo @ WCG Australia national finals in Sydney while also coordinating and organising the finals in Sydney of the Australian GIGABYTE Overclocking Competition.

So, ermm... busy? :p:

Don't worry though, once I get my next paycheck I'll have enough for my new dewar (no more rentals) and finish the payment on my new 2-stage cascade (last one had to go back to work when I quit) - then I'll be back in business :D

But anyway, that's all getting a bit off topic - congrats James and looking forward to our session @ WCG if we can get things sorted in time; I freakin hate late notice!

forget about the pi time, with cas4, pl9 and mchbar tweaks you can take at least 15s off that time, look at the damn clocks, whoa, cpu stops at loop 20 of 6250 so with a bit of volt/temp management it will pass that also... a monster

I ended up getting tangled up with family stuff after dinner - which was when I said brb to pro on msn - and the last message I got was 'this chip is :banana::banana::banana::banana:, cold boot bug at -112 on cascade' and now I get back to my PC, it's midnight and I see a 6.2GHz 32m. Classic :cool:
