I tested RAMPAGE EXTREME simply.
-
great results duck, this board is looking like its a monster fsb board, finally x48 with high fsb has arrived!
looking forward to what you can do with this =)
-
very nice resultsduck, i like this board too it very simply for playing on higher FSB
wait to see more results on your playing
-
and another Rampage Extreme strikes! nice work duck, as the others have said...waiting in anticipation to see what you can pull off with this great board.
-
How much does this board retail for? Man I gotta get asus to send me boards to test, jeez!
-
700FSB is very nice :)
any mods?
-
SHIMOKAWA YASUKAZUT-san ;)
Your LN2 cooling is really bold.
And Nice FSB
I test Rampage-Ex after AOCC.
I will be waiting for you in Hong Kong.:D
-
Nice clocks what pl level on ram for 700 fsb?
-
Yes this board is realy the best one... nice work duke.
where do you find this pot for nitrogen?
-
Wow, 700fsb!
I recall the amd days we were struggling for 200fsb, lol.
It seems the P45 boards are not the only ones hitting exceptional fsb, that makes the choice of mobo's larger, which is nice.
The question is, what PL can this board maintain at such high fsb.
Looking forward to some benches on this setup. :)
-
i say go X48 , more power then a P45 .
nice fsb speed's duck :)
-
 700MHz FSB on X48 ! :woot: And you said that you are going for even more !
That's awesome :toast: Congrats duck !

-
That is great results Duck-san :)
awaiting some more numbers
-
Duck, Did you experience any issues with +1.7V Vcore and Load Line Calibration? What BIOS are you using, 0401?

Duck san, i see ~ 1.95Volt you using for SPI so which BIOS you r using and for 1.95V on windows how much voltage set on BIOS (1.825V i guest?) my board over nearly 0.1Volt while set > 1.7Volt @ BIOS

Yes, I look back on struggling in EP-8K3A、EP-8K7A、EP-8RDA、and NF-7...,
too.
I intend to take down PL level after this.

About this BIOS voltage, it is the type that it inputs the value into for an
option, not the type to choose, so I think Vcore can enter without a limit,
till the cpu dead....hahah I confirmed it to 2.03v in CPU-Z.

No, I did not modify the NB heatpipe and heatsink.
The lid can remove from the northchip, so put on the small pot.

There was a great difference between set point by the BIOS and software
indication. (BIOS1.8v=CPU-Z2.01v)
But the problem was settled in when disable Loadline Calibration, and the
clock improved, too. The BIOS is 0206.
I was honored to meet you.

5:6(6-6-6-18) had no change in FSB performance. I do not try it at 2:3...

I tried it.
Still, as for QX, FSB did not rise.
However, it was better than other M/B.

Thank you Bullet92-san.
I did not anything special measures, so FSB will rise still more.
The cat, she looked on the top of the monitor this time.

I really need to test one of these beasts
-
Hi there....i am not so experience in overclocking and because many of you have tested this motherboard
(mine comes 11/8) can you "guess" how high fsb can achieved on air ?I have Striker 2 Extreme also
and i am stable from day one at 450 fsb with great temps....you thing i will go over it?Thanks in
advance and congratulations to duck for his record....:)
-
Great work as usual duck-san. A true legend
It was a pleasure to meet you at Hong Kong :)
-
700MHz FSB  this baby is flying
-
Is this board already available in Germany?
-
Yes it's available for 300 Euro (http://preissuche.pcgameshardware.de/a353500.html).
Very nice result duck-san =D :toast:
700 MHz FSB is great and confrims the testing done by Asus (Kinc?) :)
-
That's incredible for X48! Well done Duck-san!
-
Good tests Duck! I received a sample today... i'll try later some settings.
It's hard to find right settings on this mobo?
EDIT:
I achieved 635 mhz benchable with e8500 and nb aircooled...really nice motherboard! Thousand settings but we love them :D
Now i'll look for PL capacity :)

Awesome results, looking forward to more from you with this board.:)
