Phenom TLB Disable Tool and Phenom MSR tweaking tool
Phenom TLB Disable Tool [Update Version 1.04]
Finally finished the GUI version of TLB disabling program. It is useful when you mobo BIOS doesn't has option to disable the TLB walkaround. And it is also useful if you are using Vista SP1 which enabled the TLB after boot up even if you disable the TLB in the BIOS. Added GUI interface, and user can choose to automatically close the window after successful applying of patch. The default time for closing the window is 8 seconds. You can also change the default in the INI file.
You will need to put the program in the same directory as CrystalCPUID (x86 version, NOT the x64 version) to run the program. In Vista, you also need to run as administrator. For how to setup the program so that it starts automatically with Vista see here. You can also use that link for older versions of the program and how to use the program and how to do the benchmarking.
Works for XP, Vista32/64

TLB Disable not fully disabling??
Hey guys, I have been trying to figure out this TLB Disable patch for over 2 weeks now with only partial success. I have downloaded every version of the TLB_Disable, and even tried to download the Tweak, but I couldnt figure out how to get the tweak to work. The problem is that I am not getting full cpu power back. my WinRAR benchmark caps at about 900, most of the time. Every now and then it will actually show the full 1400, but I'm not sure what changes are happening in the computer for that to take place! My roommate actually has the exact same cpu/motherboard, both windows 7 with no service packs installed. His gives the full 1400 every time he runs the disable, and I have notice that his MSR registry changes to this:
[MSR_C0010015]
high=0x00000000
low=0x01000010
[MSR_C0011023]
high=0x00000000
low=0x00A00020
Now I have tried to change the .ini file to that, saved it, and ran the TLB_Disable again, but it still shows in the program interface this:
[MSR_C0010015]
high=0x00000000
low=0x01000011
[MSR_C0011023]
high=0x00000000
low=0x00A00020
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am too broke to change my CPU right now and this would be a great help to me!! THANK YOU in advance as well for all responses!!! i will let you know if the answer you all gives me fixes the problem.
also the motherboard I have is the M2N68-LA (Narra3), the processor is a 9500 2.2GHZ, came in an HP computer I bought at Best Buy. Thank you again for your help!!!
