This one was on P5E WS Pro; but it's the same on my actual P5E3 WS Pro.

It works while setting vCORE at or above 1.6v BIOS. I mean, vCORE must be set to the over voltage range for this mod to work. Then be careful, your board won't be ov protected anymore and so will be your chip as well... ;) This mod is basically a vCORE mod, which also removes OVP.

The world record (listed on HWBot) for SuperPi 1m is 7.45 seconds with a QX9650 at 6058MHz.

Yours doesn't include OVP removal. :) You may wish to try mine in order to push the vCORE above the OVP limit (if your chip can handle it BTW).

Depends on the board I guess. Maybe 1.82 to 1.84 actual vCORE is the average max for OVP; and then the board stops running. :)

All boards are protected with OVP. Did you actually measure vCORE with a DMM?

GB X48 have no ovp
and X38 have a simple mod to remove it as well
