Just to ket you know guys the EK ASUS 3 block fits this MOBO.
I've yet to poper the stock cooling off but using the old base plate of my P5W DH Deluxe it fits directly over the holes.
SB i'm not sure, think thats std
NB is totaly differnt

That block i showed i think will fit the NB
His SB block i duno, i haven't one to hand but the SB does want it, BIOS reported 80c on it last night ehehe

Something simular to this block would be very nice though..
& did you check/reseat you heatpipe? My heatpipe was hardly making contact with the SB, so I fitted it correctly & put some Pro grade +5022 in between. Now it won't hit 40C.

Well this is very very intresting! I advise caution when removing the NB unit, see my photos as to why!
The hole spacings
X38 hole spacing is 64.43mm exactly
ICH9R SB is 55.64mm
Mosfet is 84.71mm
The EK ASUS 3 mosfet block does fit. Admitly only on the one side, the right hand side. To fit the mosfet block on the back near the IO's it's going to need a small mod as 2 caps next to the ATX 12v block it. If you look on the EK ASUS 3 you will see it had 2 sections on one side where it has been ground/filled/machined flat slightly. It over hangs the caps or chokes, well it's need to do so on the rear IO mosfet. 1/1.5mm i think is all i need, 5 mins with a good file. Maybe Eddy can adjst his drawing for the next batch he makes of these.

What ya think? I'n need to use some 1000/1500/200 grit to tidy it up from the griding disc and maybe a mudge of polish. I need to lapp the base anyway.

These mosfetblocks are very tastefull, especially in delrin, only concern is how to get a decent connection with at least 7/16" tubing from the one block to the other without getting insane kinkin.
I know it's not necessary to go from one mosfetblock to the other but it looks the best by far.

yes I think they should be as well - but its only recently Cpu block manufacturers have recognised this (Swiftech) after years and years of not using them.
I just made them as we had shedloads of emails asking for them :)

Anyone tried using the mosfet WBs on other boards? I am wondering if any of them could be made to work on an Abit P35 mobo.
Would this fits on Maximus Formula? This is 16mm width vs EK 17mm width, correct?

Before putting the cooler on the NB did you replace the heat spreader?, I have the exact same issue where th heat spreader came off, the chip appears fine however. (Damn hard glue they use on the NB).
What do you suggest Pete?

Whats really good is they are same price as the ASUS EK 3 blocks.

How can the new Asus 3a block work effectively on a Striker, P5n32 (plus)?
I have the older EK Mosfet blocks with the four fingers protruding out the side to catch the MOSFET chips between some board components. This does not seem that it would not even touch those "hard to reach" ones. See picture:
