Got a new card earlier. I couldn't handle playing Bioshock on my 7600GT. Oh well it's just money right?
8800GTS 320MB @ 660/1000
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...OGL8800GTS.png
Much better.
heres mine.......... the hd2900 leaves nvidia cards behind in this benchmark.....
Did you mean two of them leave one nvidia card behind?
this is me... sli 7900gto
Luckily BioShock runs with much higher FPS than this :)
8400 in my lappy
This is my result after second run with steam download in background.
AMD Athlon X2 64 5600+ @ 3300MHz
2 Gig Mushkin 8500
HD2900XT 1GIG oc 828/1000 MHz
WinXP
another try.

I can't see any pictures after post #2. Here's mine though. x1950pro@stock. e6400 @3ghz, ram1:1 cas44412

Ouch, thats pretty crappy.. barely faster than a 7600GT in OGL :-(
Using Cat 7.8 on Vista 32
Have ATi's drivers caught up with nVidia's in OpenGL performance?
I was hoping one of the guys with high ati scores would say if its from one card or crossfire.

2644 with the 8800GTX running at 660/2040
Vista x64 Ultimate with 163.44 Forceware
R600 is generally faster in this benchmark than G80.
The fur renderer here is quite simple - no dynamic branching and only a single texture fetch per 100 shader passes to form the actual fur, eg. the ALU:TEX ratio here is heavily biased toward the math power.
In a nut shell, the more [pixel] shader power you have in absolute terms, the more FPS... and more heat will be generated. ;)
That's why X1800XT is on par with, say a 7600GT.
Here's mine. A BFG 8800GTX OC at stock with a low clocked Quad.

Also a tip guys, if you hit Alt+Print Screen it only captures the active window ;) :)
Best run until now:

PS. I recently switched from my X1950Pro(GT) to this GF7900GS and in Cinebench4D H/W OpenGL is significantly lower (ATI 4515/nV 2666)!!

Test PWN3D :) SOrry but i cant stay laughting ;)
Program reads wrong cpu speed for me. Single sapphire 2900xt...LOL its slower in crossfire along with many other apps and games. Well worth the extra $500 hey fellas?
Asus p5k deluxe
Sapphire 2900xt
corsair dominator 2x1024
q6600 go at 3.8 gig
it only uses one cpu core and it only uses on card
Overclocked my sapphire a bit more and got this.
to all nvidia owners, the benchmark can run differantly on some systems where part of the ring of fur is off screen. this is what gives you the high scores. this has been proved so please if your ring of fur looks very close and is partly obscured then you need to revise your settings so that they are the same as other users. when i first saw a score as high as that i new something was up and we asked the guy to show us a video to prove he wasnt faking his score. thats when we noticed the full ring was only partly rendered with part being off screen.

Can we get Death in here to manage this thread EOCF style?

ati seems pretty strong in this benchmark
l0l raptor l0000000000l i dont run this thread im going crazy
Woo hoo! Independent shader overclocking is awesome! Go RivaTuner! Woot!

I'm amazed by this card .... :)
I just posted the link. I'm not going to create a spreadsheet with the scores. If you want to go for it.

There is also a new version of the benchmark. You can download it here. If you want to download it but don't want to create an account use Username: LeaveMeAlone Password: 12345 to download the benchmark. Be sure to logout after you download the benchmark so others can use the Bugmenot account I created.
KK...I'll make a new thread so that everyone can post in correct format... and have my stuff at the beginning...
Nice benchmark. 2 * XFX 8800 Ultra XXX @ stock.
BS score.... is the ring fully on the screen at all times?
I never had an issue... maybe you need to adjust the "V-size" on your monitor, and change your resolution to 1280x1024...
ok I will....
2471 with 8800GTS 320MB...
edit:
... at 1.285v vGPU / 1.990v vMEM
:D
You see, SLI doesnt usually affect the benchmark...
PM death with that pic and see what he can do.
Raptor22,
It's on water.
Swiftech MCW60 with an Apogee GT(X) baseplate.
Whew those 2900's are scoring high.
its a furry donut:confused:
From what I can tell it looks like the same fur as DX10 fur in Lost Planet. Obviously this demo is DX9 but maybe that's the reason it runs like poo poo because it's having to make extra passes.
Example:
DX9 Fur

DX10 Fur

just for fun

There we are, that is much more like it. That's done at 847/800.

All the rest is same as in sig
Correto.

Does enabling post processing generate more heat (more stress?) ?
FurMark reports my cpu clock wrong.
