Heres my playroom.... the floppy drive is hanging out of my case still, i had to access raid drivers the other night, still unsure what to do with it.
and the wall behind the pc screens is my MB wall of death, some were H-Card (DTV) emulators back in the day, and the lanparty ultra b is my last victim, she died due to a dremel attack ...;-(

Thanks Vassili :) Nope, connected the Yellow composite plug (video) into my ATi VIVO dongle and the Red & White composite plugs (sound) into my sound card via a RCA->Miniplug adapter found @ Radio Shack for $5. I use VLC to view the video, and the sound just comes through the speakers when I fire up the PS2. Works great!Quote:

Looks great, your current desk looks okay too, I would be giving it a sand down and then lacquering, or staining. A new desk could be cool too :p: Oak sounds good, nice and heavy :D

Glad to say I got rid of that desk. Unfortunately I had an failure and now my main rig is out of commission. I don't have to do everything on my laptop, but the screen is much nicer. I plan on a triple monitor setup when things get up and running again.

Thats how it was set up when I was at college the past year. Next year will be pretty much the same, except my roommate is buying a 32" plasma TV+stand from his buddy. The red drape thing is a Ferrari flag I got at a Formula 1 race I went to... using to cover the ugly bed springs.
Edit: Got rid of that crappy $7 Logitech mouse in favor a nice Razer Copperhead. Never doubting spending that much on a mouse for gaming again... wonderful mouse.

The LCD's use far less energy than the CRT's. All 6 of my monitors together use only twice the energy my old 19 inch CRT monitor did (that was one stand alone monitor). This means less heat output. Don't get me wrong, they can put out some heat after hours of use but nothing like the CRT's can.Quote:
