"P5N32-E SLI" 522FSB done & more (pics inside)

Nice. I'm starting to wonder if I have a piss poor board or something because if I try that my temps are up near 75 in no time. And I've got a Tuniq 120 so either I didn't set the tower right or I seriously need to lap the proc. Teach me oh master of the air cooled machine.
-
Check your contact with TuniQ, alot of them need lapping.

Would it still do 522FSB if your CPU wasn't an ES and those extra fans were turned off?
I want to see you put that system into a case!:)
What values did you set these to in the bios?
Vcore 1.50V
1.2VHT 1.49V
CPU VTT 1.54V
NB Core 1.63V

without fans i don`t know ,but this board can handle 522FSB with any Conroe, if it can be really pushed far

just curious what you can do with kentfield
If you have the time to test, plz let me know :)

To bad that the strap kicks in at 400+fsb, look how horrible your memory bandwidth is-> 10000mb/s in everest:( im running 4-4-4-12 1t@ 800mhz and hitting 17000mb/s at 3200mhz
Here's a PIC

Nice test Mr Criminal. How far can you push the RAMs @ 1T, one of the guys at my forum have problem reaching 800 even..
-
My will do 1T cas3 over 440mhz, has alot to do with the ram & voltages used. Hey criminal, try booting 424(1696) and then Clockgen @ Cas 3 or 4, it's much faster :)

Kentsfield will be the next for sure :)
for now i got a screen
http://img75.imageshack.us/img75/420...hzpi1mbdp5.jpg
that was with 0302 bios(1.42v max) and now with 0602 will be better :)

thanks GHZ ,i still learning about that board ,i bought it 3 days ago and just now i can run over 500FSB ,just using bios ,can i ask what version of it is working on 680i? a new one from Frank or setfsb?
:)

Sounds like your having the same problem as me mate. Refer to http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...hlight=p5n32-e.
I'll let you know how I go, at present, I am waiting for another ultra-120 to test. Won't be for a week or so yet. If that doesnt make a difference, I might have to lap the processor.
If you find anything out can you let me know? :)
Now, back to the topic. Great results, gotta keep that NB/PWN temps under control.

The BW on that one would be cool to see! Great job bro.

thanks for the info but really weird you can clock 1T so high but times are slow... while i can't clock 1T that high but times seem faster

edit: doh didn't realise you're using 2x512MB not 2x1GB!

Hmm. I must have some kind of compatability with my ram. At 424Mhz I get about 47ns and 425+ its around 75ns. Though it runs just fine above 500Mhz.

No thats normal, you are at the strap change point. See hipro's testing ;)

you run under tons of tweaks right :)

nope just what you see in memset.... i think maybe under 424FSB 680i chipset has tighter latencies...
maybe you could try same clock speed/ram speed test at 9x333FSB with 416mhz memory ?
my settings used

a Kentsfield B3 like yours is better to run the tests rite?
and i will use your settings lets c what i can do :)
-
kentsfield only better for dual or quad 32M super pi.. single 32M, kents is probably 2-5 seconds faster :)
You loose around 20 seconds at same clock speed/timings between 2x512MB vs using 2x1GB modules though

nearly 2 minute difference that's huge difference even for just
2x512MB vs 2x1GB
+
B3 vs B1 steppings
I'm finding for my striker i'm not clocking as high as other striker or P5N32-E board folks when it comes to 1T with either my E6600 B1 or Q6600 B3 - hence been running around asking folks what their max 1T clocks are and at what vdimm heh
but my pi times are faster clock for clock.
Tried adding a bit more NB and or vdimm volts could be your throttling a bit with lack of voltages ?

Eva ,for 450mhz i need lots of vdimm :( -->2.65v

dam that's high i'm floating between 450-457mhz 4-3-3-4 to 4-4-4-4 1T at 2.45-2.5v vdimm guess it's the memory.. but 2T clocking nicely at 640mhz 5-4-3-4 2T at 2.5v :)
