You sure you got enough rads in that? I see 3 120.1s and a 120.3 or maybe a 120.2. Does look good though, and 1 hell of a system you'll have there!:slobber: :slobber:
well look at it this way in total i have 8x 120.1 RADs loooooolQuote:

What model is that 240 radiator? BI GTX? The rest are definitely Thermochill. Good choices. Well done!
Are you based in the US? If so, where did you find your accessories for the 343B ? I can find that lovely case but cannot for the life of me find the accessories, especially the PA120.3 radiator mount, the top double radiator adapter and the front bay adapters. Also, are you going with 4 more raptors in another front bay HDD carrier or is that a plexiglass window in front? Maybe that's space for yeat another 120! lol :)
IanY, you can get parts here: http://www.pc-look.com/boutik/defaul...68&language=en
Very nice setup :toast:
It reminds me of another 343B comming up ;)
Thanks Doubage. Once again, the UK has it all and the US has none :)
Is there a way to remove that Lian Li name plate from the HDD adapter? lol Mucks up an otherwise extremely classy case lol :)
What reservoir is that? Don't tell me that its an EK?
So you had to make me drool all over the keyboard while I'm having my coffee!:slobber:
VERY nice build. I've been looking at that case for months.
Congrats and good luck with it!:toast:
thank you IanyQuote:

Microplex has them as well as here in the US: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=21047Quote:

If I can find those, I'm going to have both a PC-343B and a MM U2-UFO Optimax! lol :) Maybe I should stack them and make it into a stone hench monument! :) Decisions... which will have Intel and which will have AMD.. hmmm lol :)
i was about to go U2-UFO but after seeing this lian-li i like it very muchQuote:

Ashoof,
So, did you get your accessories from Microplex? Do they really ship out? I cannot find the radiator adapter plate for the ceiling of the case.

i've been drooling over these for a month now. I think by the time Feb. comes around we ought to be able to get everything over here in the u.s.a.
group buy ..??maybe
good luck... i can't get any website which sells these in Europe to even answer an email from over here, much less discuss a purchase.Quote:

sorry for straying off thread ashoof, you have a wonderful rig there. I know what you are feeling about this case, i feel the same way... and i am also getting much of the same hardware you have, so it's nice to see what mine has the potential for.:)
Have fun with it!
Wow that is a sick rig man. Cant wait to see finished pix :)
Microplex responded to my e-mail. They won't ship outside of Norway. The US distributor cannot be more clueless.
Wow that case is huge. I wish mine was 2/3 that size.
If anyone want's me to, I'd be happy to buy the case for them, and then ship outside Norway, no extra charge of course ;)
Thanks Big Sturl,
Its not the case. We have plenty of those in the US. Its the select accessories that we cannot get, and without the accessories, the case is useless to me. For me, it'll be like buying a car but not having a steering wheel.
I see... Well, drop me a PM if there's something you're interested in buying from Microplex.

Loved that case since the first time I saw it. I see that with a dual clovertown rig in it and..Damn, there goes another set of shorts!:D
as to 50C, I'm seeing 60-66C at full load on the clovers at 3000 on air
What dual radiator do you have mounted in the ceiling? Is it really a Thermochill PA120.2 ? I didn't think that the 343B bracket would allow a Thermochill up there.
Dang, that looks like a wonderfully quiet and cool rig, you should try fan-less and see how it goes!
IanY soryy it is not pa120.2 i only discripe it for the size onlyQuote:

good god i really have to say that your wc rig looks sweet, i'm drooling on my keyboard right now...
thank you guys :)
that's why i love this case
reason: enough space don't matter what :)
Wait a sec, youre not scared of the aluminum blocks mucking up the copper?
anyone knows where i can finde nice color LCD that i can fit in front of the case that plug and play thankx
Can you send that case here for a few months and I'll see which panel looks the best!:DQuote:

awesome, i want that case...!
Wow... Completely overboard with the radiators but it looks damn nice! Might want to look into a third D5 or an iwaki to handle the restriction
Dribble... So how much did it set you back, $10000? :p:
tha case is very very good for water cooling and very very quite as well the only sound i hear is the psu fan going full but the the pc is very very quite temp is 50 c at full load after hours that at 1.55 V 3.5 ghz i have a temp sensr in cpu and shows 40c max as far the restriction i think 2 D5 is doing a good jobQuote:

Thanks very much.
With a little modification, a second Triple seems to fit in the upper top instead of the Dual is that right?
Whoa, damn nice! That should be my next case. That is just what I am looking for the whole time! :slobber:
What about that window-panel on the left? Would it fit onto the right side too?
So I would like to have both sides with a window. :)
The left window panel won't fit on the right side.
I don't believe there is a window panel for the right side of this case available to buy. However, shouldn't be too difficult to mod original side panel and install a window :)
True!
Just thought it could fit in, then I would rather buy one, than modifying that beautiful brushed material. Well, if worked carefully, it should be okay.
I also would prefer to buy one - I don't trust my own skills when it comes to trying to putting a window into a side panel
I did recheck just in case, but the top and bottom retaining methods are different
This looks like a vadim built pc do you work for vadim????
Yeah it is "Custom Fusion LQX Hydrus"
I knew i've seen this exact setup before
http://www.vadim.co.uk/Custom%20PC%20Build/Hydrus
very nice build by the way
Yeah - the OP stated earlier that Vadim were building this PC for him. Looks like they've done a good job - and so they should looking at that price :p:
Well maybe you´re right with modifying cases by yourself. the whole work with my case was lots of fun, but sometimes I am too busy and that is very frustrating. No time to work on the case. And if it should go fast, ya better should let it be. It should look very good and that doesn´t work, if you work fast. Well, in February after my birthday, I will get that case and I´ll take a few days at home. one week on holiday for me and my family. Maybe then I would have the time for my own window-cuts. :D
I am really excited, when I think about the dimensions of that case. Enough Space for all of my planned 2 Loops for my rig.
And it still looks very awesome and authentic.
PeeBee,
It's a great case, but it does take a bit of time to plan everything out if you are adding several loops. Mine should be done in a few weeks.
Are we having fun yet?
http://www.993tt.com/computer/Case/pumpsx1s.jpg
http://www.993tt.com/computer/Case/pumpsx2s.jpg
Cheers!
Well, that is very nice :D
I will only take 2 Loops. Guess it´ll be enough and easier to plan/install. I do not have Sli or CF anyways. But in the upper top, where the removable panel is, could fit a triple with a little modification or not? It looks like it could fit. So I would place one in the right front bay and another one (flat) in the top.
In theory, the case is wide enough to support a PA120.3 across the top, but in practise I think it would take some serious modification of the top panel to install it.
The radiator is wider than the internal edges of the case frame. When the fans are attached to the radiator, all 3 fit within the frame (just), and as the fan depth is 25mm and the frame depth is only 10mm, the radiator will sit below the frame. However, cutting the top to allow all 3 fans will only leave about 35mm on each side, and I'm not sure if the top would then be strong enough structurally to support the weight of the radiator without additional support.
As a picture can speak more than a thousand words...
http://img250.imageshack.us/img250/6...1203topma3.jpg
As you can see, it's a tight fit.
Regarding the positioning of the other PA120.3 on the right side of the case, I also originally intended the same. However, I eventually changed my mind for 2 main reasons:
1. My case sits on my left, and so it is more convenient to have the DVD drive on the right
2. I will also be using 2 Lian Li HDD modules, and when installed, they protrude an additional 50mm beyond the back of the drive bay supports. This would seriously restrict my options when choosing a graphics card (the 8800GTX at 275mm in length would not be an option). Remember the case is not as deep as other cases.
So I have 'reluctantly' decided to place the PA120.3 on the left side.
On the plus side, this means that a lot more of my cables will be hidden from view
Looks so sweet good work ;)
Well I wouldn´t install a TC PA120.3 i´d prefer a Magicool 360 SLIM! It ist more flat (less than half of a TC, less weight and close sitting fans) It is not that long as a TC, so it would fit better in the top.
398mm x 121mm x 30mm
http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...-Radiator.html
so even with the fans it would be 55mm thick and only 398mm long. That should fit much better and would bring enough performance for NB/SB/PWM.
I am still not sure how I should split. My Q6600 with 8800GTX in a loop and NB/SB/PWM in the other, or put the 8800GTX into the loop of chipset? So the Q6600 would have his own loop.
That radiator would indeed fit much better, being quite a bit shorter than the PA120.3
As this is my 1st water-cooling build, I'm no expert here, but I have decided to go with 2 loops also. The PA120.3 is for the CPU and NB, and I also intend to install a PA120.2 on the top for the graphics card (8800GTS 640MB) at a later date.
I personally wouldn't put the graphics card in the same loop as the CPU. Option 2 seems a better choice to me. However, as I'm still pretty new to this, maybe someone with more experience or knowledge could advise better.
I haven't totally decided whether to put my NB in the same loop as the CPU or with the graphics card loop. As I don't intend to OC the graphics card much beyond it's current OC, my intention is just to keep everything a bit cooler inside the case. The CPU will be my main focus for OC - got a Q6600 G0 on order. As I will be using an x38 motherboard with this build, I have no idea yet as to what NB temps I can expect.
I'm not too concerned with the SB as the temps do not tend to increase noticeably when OCing.
NB is for o´cing RAM important to increase Voltage sometimes, it was necessary for 1000Mhz instead of 800MHz. (okay VDIMM also)
SB-Voltage is sometimes necessary for a higher FSB with the board. At a FSB of over 400 I needed to increase it.
So I could run my Q6600 with 450*8 at a lower Vcore for CPU (1,4125V) At 400*9 I needed 1,45V Vcore. An a Super PI did not show a real big Difference according to the slower Strap which comes up at 401 FSB.
Lower Temps of the Quad ;)
That is, why I cool it all with water. Lower heat at all and more options to overclock with lower risk.
Hey ashoof!
How is the rad mounted in the top?
Does the mesh keep it in the top?
I am looking for a solution, mounting it in the case construct, so that I can always remove the whole top without removing the rad. Any ideas?
I thought of making threads into the case constuct and mounting any selfmade distance keepers from one side to the other with mounting holes for the rad on it. But I don´t know, if that should work :(
Hey, just ordered a 343 mate, are you saying my PA 120.3 rad wont fit at teh front like yours?
Which 120.2 rad are you using in the roof? (Your link a page back doesnt work anymore)
Excellent build. I am loving this case more and more daily, it is definitely on the shortlist. Thing I don't like is the 6 front panels add nearly £100 to the case :( I might see what my m8s in the metal tech workshop can do :D
It would be nice to run two loops PA120.3 and PA120.2 in there.
how do u take the top panel off?
same here: just screwed on ;)
