AMD64 DryIce-Session incl. WR 3500+ Venice

yesterday i had my second dryice session.... my target was to crack the 3700+ SanDiego WR of Misteroaster... just for fun i tried a 3500+ Venice & 3000+ Winchester also. Befor we begin: I'm a MHz-junkie only, super-pi time or 3d-benchmarks are not interessting for me ;)

you have reached a nice clock with the 3700+ KABYE.
maybe you can try with one stick of ram to increase your scores (you can reach 4MHz for the 3700+ to have the WR :) )

They might just enter the last line of the stepping in google. Look at gianni-gt's steppings and just enter in google ... you'll find the overclocks ;)

if you were having some fun with xtreme cooling and hware got dead - do not post any results until it gets RMA :)

IHS is untouched.... and i tried more voltage till 1.83V but with 1.76V i got the best results....

Ok, will see if i could get DI tube/mousepot.
Im running 3Ghz 24/7 with 1.62v with IHS removed on BigTyphoon. Overclock on air/water is about to equal.

atm i try the 3700+ 0602gpmw under my fridge-chiller... i reached with 1.7V and a cpu-temp of 24°C already 3504mhz.... :rolleyes: i think i can cooldown the chip to best working temp... 36xx mhz for shure...

Remove IHS to get less fluctuate temps, that can always help.

no ihs removal! the water was only 0°C... will see what the temps say with -35°C water-temp...

well, mr tapakah gave me the tip that utt ram are better for max. screens....

my test:

CPU: 3700+ SanDiego (0602GPMW) @ 1.300V*133%=~1.7V
Cooling: Fridge-Chiller @ -12°C
CPU-Temp: +15°C
RAM:
1st: 2x256mb bh5
2nd: 1x256mb bh5
3rd: noname 1x512mb
4th: an other 1x512mb noname ram

THE RESULTS:

1st: 3471mhz
2nd: 3471mhz
3rd: 3463mhz
4th: 3471mhz

not more mhz with the noname ddr-ram...

that's a nice session S939 ftw! ;)
yeah sandy 3700+ suxx when it comes to cb but you really kicked the second one 3700+@3700MHZ always sounds good :D

are you sure that it's not the cpus witch limit you max htt?
the new amd cpus witch can break 350mhz htt WITH COLD are rare

edit: and 400mhz htt aircooled is now luck :(

I have 3 SLI-DR and all make the 400 htt by the way. The Ultra-D schould go also good but ur board isn´t so good :(

yeah 0547 GPMW and 0602 GPMW :)
the opteron 148 on the pic is also dead but he is still at me....the only cpu i still have is the fx-55 san diego its that cpu in the signatur ;)

the hell! today before work i tried the 3700+ (the bugged one)... chiller-water-temp @ -31°C... i tried with 1.76V... the validation mark of 3500mhz not possible! max. superpi stable: 3338mhz@1.64V... with more vcore the cpu is going too hot! this chip is a madness! next weekend i run some prime-runs...

these fu**ing hot 0602 gpmw i know...with air my best result was 8x385 mhz with 1,504 v. and these gpmw have too high cold bugs :(
