Same I think but 1gb kit
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=122666
its ok but on GKX i'm asking about the GMH :)Quote:

On Foxconn C51XEM2AA I could run DDR2-1060 with 5-5-5-15 and 2.17 volt or DDR2-908 with 4-4-3-8 and 2.17 volt (stable through memtest).
On AM2-platform I canīt use 1t and/or could get better timings than 4-4-3-5 with 2.17 volt.
so itsn't rather possible to get over 1 k on CL4 on that GMH??Quote:

ok so i still waiting for a screens with highest scoreQuote:

Mine can't do 4-3-3 at DDR2 800, so max agresive timings are the default ones, 4-4-3. At 4-4-3 it has rised to 460Mhz 2.2V, anything above 460Mhz needed Cas 5-5-5. I tried 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 adn 2.6V to try 270 at 4-4-3 but always got a BSOD (only with the supertalent, i have another kit of mushkin pc6400 D9GMH which likes 2.65V). And at cas 5-5-5 it even does 480Mhz... just about 475Mhz.
This is on a Abit AW9D-MAX, tried 4:5 and 2:3 dividir if it helps but nothing, same results.
As i have said, quite dissapointed...
PD: The mushkin does 440Mhz Cas 4-3-3 2.65V, 486Mhz Cas 4-4-3 2.45V and only 492Mhz at 5-5-5 2.4V. I may be doing something wrong :slap:
PD2: It's the blue heatsinks one and they are week 45 of 2006.
I've removed the heatsink and w00t... that's how it looks:

Rewrited chips ? What are suposed to be ? D9GMH as well ?
interesting... anyone else know about these modules? are they d9's?
My super talent didnt work that well on the AW9D-max either..on the P5B DELUXE i had 4-4-4-12 on 500mhz with the 4/5 divider.
I upped the volts to try and achieve that again but my RAM eventually borked(on the Abit).
I've just noticed that not all chips have the same "serial" written. There are chips with:
SY010403PEBPC (most of them)
But there are some others than have:
S0116802PEBPD
Written into it.
What is this suposed to be ? Is supertalent using different chips in the same stick ? And does someone have any information about those remarked chips ?
could be D9GCT
just got my kit yesterday.
cpu-z shows them as pc5300... but run fine at 420 4-4-4-12. i haven't tweaked yet but they should hopefully get up to 500! :) Anyone know if week 31 happens to be d9gkx still? i'm guessing not but just wanted to ask
Does anybody have an update on this RAM?
It's the only POTENTIAL D9GMH I can buy here in Hong Kong. G.Skill's are out of stock indefinitely. Corsairs are now Promos, and Patriot are now Elpida. Can't buy Crucial, Buffalo, OCZ or TeamGroup out here.
That leaves SuperTalent - THESE EXACT MODELS: T800UX2GC5/T800UX2GC4
EDIT: If someone would be willing to help a person like me in a rather unfortunate ram position, please drop a PM my way. If these Super Talent turn out to be Elpida chips or something, I'm in dire need of a middle man in the US who can pick me up some NewEgg rebated Crucial sticks then send em my way.
Which mem do you have?the silver or the blue?Quote:

np :) yep your right.the timings are actually 3-4-3-8.so it can be a little misleading.
The C4 with the blue heatspreaders is actually D9GMH?Quote:

How can it be verified?
I've tested both models (C4 and C5) yesterday and i can say that the C5 model (the one i have) is better than C4 (with blue heatspreader).
Firstly C4's don't like more than 2.4v (this is confirmed in two mb's AMD and Intel) while C5's don't have a prob with 2.45v.
Moreover my C5 can do 1075mhz 4-4-4-12 with 2.45 metest stable (not too usual for 800mhz 5-5-5-15 sticks) while C4 could even be fully stable @ 1000mhz 4-4-4-12 with 2.4v (c5 is).
I was thinking of getting the C4's but i've changed my mind... :p:
Seriously?
That's terrible news for me. They only stock C4's.
C4's are great mem too. But at least in my testing i've got the abve mentined results. Maybe i've got a "bad" c4 pair...
im beginning to wonder if they are even using d9s in the c4s anymore.has anyone been able to identify these yet?the set i had were the same thing.Quote:

mine don't but it says RoHS on the box it came in.
The blue or silver ones?Quote:

Mines are week 45, and as I've said, they don't like any voltage higher than 2.3V.
The picture is not belongs to Super Talent. Super Talent used super glue, but not the white double side tape (which is showed in the picture) between the blue case HS and IC. There are many different models for the Super Talent 800 series. Each model represents one IC, thus you can not buy different IC with one type of model.Quote:

Well.... after some updates, finally I got an answer from supertalent ...
Now the question is.... they use Elpida ? Promos ? Aenon? Infineon? Not more D9 on 800 kits for a while.. that's clear and I have noticed it with my new kit, and if i'm correct, all new kits are now mounted with blue heatsinks, no more silver spreaders on DDR2 800 kits.Quote:
First, we do not specify which chip we use in our Overclocking modules. We specify the clock speed, latency values, and voltage that the modules are tested and guaranteed to operate at. What really matters to customers is what speed the modules can run at, so that's naturally how we specify the modules. But we can use any chip that meets our specifications. Our reasoning for this is simple. When you buy a Super Talent module you're not just buying a bunch of chips on a PCB; you're buying all the testing that we put into the module, and our quality guarantee -- we stand behind the product. The vast majority of our OC modules are capable of running well over their rated specs.
Also, to offer the best possible price and availability we need to be able to qualify multiple chip sources for each module (when possible). We work tirelessly to drive our costs down and improve our availability and lead-times for each product, but we need the flexibility to use more than one chip brand to be competitive. Of course our competitors do the same thing -- they use a variety of chip vendors for their 800MHz parts to drive costs down.
For customers who want the exceptional performance of Micron D9, they can buy our top speed grade modules since currently we use only Micron D9 on our 1000MHz kits. Of course these Micron D9 based modules are considerably more expensive and have very long lead times, so it's not a good volume production product. If you're interested in testing our 1000MHz kits I'm sure we can support you.
If you experienced any issues with our 800MHz kits, I can't imagine why since we haven't seen any quality issues with these kits. Our test process in production is very intensive, and like I said, the majority of our 800MHz kits can run at nearly 900MHz. We'll be glad to replace any bad kit you may have.
You can contact me any time for help with questions or issues. I'll be glad to help in any way I can.

that sounds suspiciously like the corsair 6400c4 bs that happened a few weeks ago.switched ics mid week and suddenly a solid d9 module was a junk promos.in this case it looks like a elpida switch.
interesting...
maybe they made a switch a while ago... but used D9's in their earlier production with blue spreaders and then switched to something else later on...
like i said, i have week 31's and can do 475 4-4-4-10
so somewhere between week 31 and week 45.
Joebar do you remember what week yours were by chance?
I have mine (T800UX2GC5 - blue hetaspreader) currently running at DDR2-980 @4/4/4/8 @2.3V(bios) fully stable (with the Supertalent Memory Cooler above them). Can do also DDR2 1000 (same timings) @2.35V. Should be Micron IC's (but what exactly?).
A friend of mine got the T800UX2GC4 (blue - week 40 i think) 2 days ago and can do as much as DDR2 1000 @5/5/5 @2.3V! That's BS! He payed more and got worse IC's!
i am sure the newer C4 and C5 both using promos chip now
sad :(
everyone's doin' a mem chip switcharoo on us
Not Crucial or G.Skill...
...yet.
sorry... ALMOST everyone :)Quote:

I assume that the Crucial Ballistix 1000/800 will be GMH/GKX because of how they seem to be clocking.
I'm not sure about the 667.

My T800UX2GC5 with silver heatspreaders, is week 19 (i've got it pretty early :) ) and can do 1075mhz 4-4-4-12 with 2.4v memtest stable. Haven't tried higher...Quote:

Running stable @ speeds below.
havent got c4 to work at anything over 990ish
week 35/06 silver heatspreaders $225 from ebay :)
I alos have the supertallent.
Mine are Week 19-2006 and C4 with Silver heat spreeders
At 2.3 Volt on a ASUS P5WD2 they ran this :
667Mhz 3-3-3-8
800Mhz 4-4-3-8
1000Mhz 5-5-5-15
1040Mhz 5-5-5-15
But it is about 4 months ago and I run them at 950 4-4-3-8 with 2.2 Volt
week 35's have silver spreaders?!?Quote:

I got my T800UX2GC4's (Blue Heatsinks) from newegg today. Pulled the heatsink they all say s0079303PEDPA on them. I did research on them about a month ago and they where great. Now there using some cheap chips on them. Wonder if it would be worth it to return them? There week 49, ran memtest on them for 17 hours at 400fsb with 4 4 3 8 @ 400 and they got no errors.
Have you tried overclocking them yet? As an unknown chip they may be monsters.
HA! I've got Week 13! Beat ya there Joe! :p:Quote:

Sweet! :)
When i'll have the time i'll test mine higher.
Does this also apply to the ddr2-800 version of these chips? Even though the specs say to run them at 4-4-3-8 @ 2.2v...if i go anything higher than 2.1v i get blue screen and reboot b4 it even loads into windows. Doesn't matter what timings. This is with the abit aw9d-max board. Bad or incompatible ram?
We are talking about the DDR2-800 version. And yeah your problem can be due to bad ram or motherboard incompatibility. You'll just have to check yourself. Try the ram on another board if you can, or RMA the ones you have and see if you get the same problem with the replacement they send you.
lol, dunno why i thought u guys were taliking about the T1000...well i ran memtest on them last night in dual channel and got a TON of errors in tests 2 through 8. Gonna go home and try 1 stick at a time and see what i get...im pretty sure either 1 or both sticks are faulty.
ok, so i was testing out the ram
I put my system at FSB 356, 1.4vcpu, 2.1vdimm, 1.65mch w/ 1:1 ratio @ 4-4-3-8. This put the ram at 712mhz. It passed dual SPi test.
I then just changed the ratio to 4:5, which put that ram at about 890mhz. It did not pass the dual SPi test. I even tried it at relaxed timings of 4-4-4-10, but still failed.
I would like to increase the voltage to these modules, but if i go anything over 2.1, i get blue screen and it does not boot into windows. I just ordered the team group cas4 ddr2 800 modules, hopefully i'll have more luck w/ those :)
btw, according to cpuz, mine are week 41 w/ blue head spreaders
I have played with a few configurations of the supertalent ram modules manufactured august 17 2006 blue T800UX2GC4 .
I find them incredible and very solid .

Week 17 is an early week. They are probably GMH.
Or GKX maybe?
I didn't know the SuperTalents had GKX.. if so, the man is lucky!
I'm still waiting for my GMH Crucial's to arrive... 10th anni. Hopefully they clock nicely.
if we knew that these cheapo sticks back in the day had GKX... we'd bought them all up!!! :)
Some of us didn't know it back then, but had luck on their side.... :)Quote:

I only wish that I would have ordered 2 more gig.
Does this review give any info on how it is overclocking?
Yeah, i think that's pretty much it. That's the o/c potential of the latest batches...
Have enybody bought this memory recently?
I recived 2x1Gb kit week 45 but one memory stick was faulty so i send it back, now i am waiting for the new kit.
Meybe they use D9gmh again
That would be nice but i don't think it will happen anytime soon...
McPhisto
you have 6400C5 ? Are they Promos/Elpida? Here in Bulgaria we have C5 model too, is it good?
As far as i've figured out you have to take a look at the manufacturing date. The earlier date the better the RAM.
Mine can do easy DDR2-1000 @ 4/4/4 @ 2.25-2.3V (week 31) but i didn't take off the heatspreader to have a look, so i don't know for sure what IC's are used.
Your ram isn't as old as u think. Mine is week 19 and have the same behaviour with yours (GKX propably). So consider yourself lucky... :)Quote:
