please , OC the card and CPU ... this is XS, right ? :D
got pics of the card?
Scroll a little down in this thread, you will find some interesting results.. CPU @only 4,55GHz GF 8800 GTx @ 660/1030
http://www.diskusjon.no/index.php?sh...=653622&st=120
Four delta fans and -5C ambient temperature.. cold as hell..
I actually think i caught a cold benching last night..
The 05 result, demolishes all other on one card.. but of course not approved..
But, fun anyway.
Looks like this run was limited by cpu.
Wow :OQuote:

Question: How much noise does the cooler make, and how cool did the card run??

can you please overclock the E6600 to 3.6ghz please and use coolbits to find optimal gfx clocks please
ASAP!
I cannot get it to 3.6 week 24
Wow awesome result. Leave it to MSI to have the sexiest HS/F sticker/screen ever :D
oh, we need more powerful cpu :D
if you are able to get 8800GTX pre-release - what`s the problem with getting a good Conroe ? :D

I don't know if I would get a MSI, the 2 year warrany makes me shy from it abit. Does MSI use quality stuff to build there cards like Leadtech or BFG?
That almost looks like you can order it now!

An L624 Conroe should go to 3.6...mine is Spi 32M to 3.7....which is still crap, I know.
If you have a chance...what happens if only 1 PCI-E plug is used? and is there any difference between which plug is filled?
Thanks ;)
Kenny
Wow, gouging at its best....750-799 CAD would be the norm. forQuote:

I thaught all the stuff to do with the 8800GTX was still under NDA until 8th of November??
Well, GTX MSRP is $549 USD so that should be 649 CAD or so. Meh.. NCIX gouges prices like newegg does. :slapass:Quote:

Hi btw anyone can anyone recommand me a psu? Cos I am not sure whether my existing one Topower 600 watt would be enough esp when overclocking is taken into account. Thanks. :)
does the cooler on the card exhaust out of the case ?
I don't think so because when I put my hand there I don't feel any exhaust.
only 8800 found on price list
Dam I was sure hoping this single card would bring me out of my SLI 7900gtx's...I guess I was expecting to much...

and it scores almost just as good as the 8800GTX... something doesnt seem right. If it was scoring 13000 in 3dmark. I'd grab one... But seeing 9800 doesnt really make me think its worth 600 dollars.

That is 4K CPU score should be 4.7+GHZQuote:

The 7950GX2 is wonderful for the price point, no doubt...but from an architectural viewpoint, its essentially 2 cards with 2 GPU's. The 8800GTX can accomplish more with a single GPU. Whether its worthwhile to you is one thing, but it definitely is the biggest stride we've seen in a couple of years in the GPU arena.
That's good for a flat stock system. A stock multi-gpu 7950 GX2 turns in 8414 with the added advantage of a stock X6800.

You've got very close to X1900 XTX Crossfire power on a single card. Does this card indeed have a high quality angle independent AF mode? I've been hearing that float around.
Missed by 145MHZ not a big dealQuote:

very nice
how long is the card in inches???? thanks i saw your put 9" does that go for the length, im worried about this thing not fitting into my lian li.
If I ever get one of those, the first thing I'll do is rip off the cooler, and get some decent paste on those RAM-chips... And the core too for that matter... That's the worst case of bad heattransfer I've seen in a long time  :slapass:
Best Regards :toast:
Are there any current waterblocks that will fit the G80?
Jesus christ, you'll NEED a full cover block to properly cool a G80. That, or a millon little HS/F's everywhere and a regular waterblock.
Is the core really that big or is it just a heatspreader?
Heatspreader. Meh.
I guess you'll have to remove that shim in order to remove that heatspreader :p:
It's a beast for sure, for both power consumption and performance :fact:
Anyone got a 7900GTO for sale now? I could use some "oldschool" SLI power :p:

There was not really much more room for oc left.. The core temp never exceeded 33 degrees Celsius, so i guess these cards are gonna be hot as hell inside a housing with all the other components.
But the good news is that one can hardly hear anything from the cards.. silent as can be..
Overall.. good :banana::banana::banana::banana:..:toast:
wow..your amd gets more cpu score than a conroe 3.8 ghz .. how do you do that ? :clap:Quote:

Do you buy gfx-cards for benching or for playing? And, do you plan to buy HE card and not to use any AA/AF? :stick:Quote:

Yeah NCIX is doing some serious price gouging, I checked ASI too (heh i laughed when I saw the SS of it) and it's DOUBLE the price.
They are making approximately $600 profit if they sell it at that price ($1128)
Although, I wouldn't even be surprised if someone bought it.
