i'm still waiting for my RD600
so the bearlake will use ddr3 and ddr2? on the same board?
Seems like ddr3 memory controllers can be backwards compatable with ddr2 - this is something that AMD looks to be doing as well.
Although they may use different physical sockets, so boards will probably support one or the other.
I really hope we start to get DDR2 1333 as well, cause I'd hate to see a 1333 FSB, and still have DDR2 in the 1 ghz range...

Now the question is, what will be the better system? Bearlake+Yorkfield or RD790+Altair. Raw spec-wise, RD790's gonna have Dual CPU, "4 Graphics", so, to the normal passerby, RD790 looks like it's gonna kick ass.
I wouldn't call Q3 2007 "soon to be ready", kinda misleading :p:
