Is this true? Proven?
Or is this something Newegg isn't doing there job?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102045 if it is really true then I don't want to pay $429 for it. I would pay half that.;) ;) ;)

nar its true i had a look into it as well. i was pretty disapointed as i usualy get Sapphire Products and its a down graded memory clock from other X1950xt's  looks like ill have to get a PowerColor or a HIs..
Maybe it's a typo:
Specs from Sapphire
Sapphire Brochure
I have the Sapphire X1950XTX OEM from the newegg, I haven't tested it because I'm redoing my hoses and cleaning my waterblocks. I'm also putting a WB on the NB since I got the newer 1.85vmch P5W DH mobo. Anways I'll let you guys know if it's in fact 1550Mhz on the Mem.
thanks for the replies. Ok now one guy says yay and the other guys says nay. I'm confused now. If you guys check the link I posted, this one is the retail version Crossfire, and not the OEM w/ standard version. I do hope it's a type otherwise that would be very disappointing. Why have 1550mhz on the memory on a top-of-the-line card. That's like replacing with a 2-gear transmission on a Bugatti 16 Veyron 1004 HP car. This action must be elliminated.....
lol man ive checked all the sapphire x1950xt reviews and they all say the mem speed is 1550.. even sapphire official site says it
ahhhh crap. That's just shucks then. Thanks for confirming this. Bad bad naughty Sapphire! Time to get spanked!:slapass:Quote:

Sapphire :slapass: :fact:
Tell me something...what is the difference between the Core on the X1900XTX and the X1950XTX ?
Therein lies the answer to your question.
Perkam
the same except for the faster gddr4 memory and Core :DQuote:

Sorry, nicepun. Sounds like you gonna have a 1550mhz mem on your card.. The price isn't really cheaper than other models either, while they have full 2000mhz stock clock.
Bling... Bling....
Sapphire X1950 italian version is going stock 650 1000 , so ram is 2000 ;)
It's just an error board is 2000 mhz like all others
:rolleyes:Quote:

x800xtpe You must work for NV.:stick: 1550mhz is X1900XTX. not X1950XTX The xtra memspeed is what makes the X1950, well, a "50":fact:
Ghigo is right, they need to update their site...
LOL
Come here x800xtpe.. Time for some good spankie.:slapass:
I already emailed Newegg about it and waiting for their reply. You know.... I hate typo's... I had a feeling they aren't doing their job right.:slapass:
Forget Sapphire. That's what you get for screwing around with my mind.
I went for the more expensive, X1950XTX 512 built by ATi for $480, with pride. ;)
Bought Conroe E6600 retail
Bought 2 x 512 G.Skill DDR2 800
Bought ASUS P5B-D
Bought Lian-Li silver case
Bought ANTEC TPII-550ATX RTL PSU
Bought DVI-D blade for 50" Panny Industrial Plasma HDTV
Bought BetterCable DVI-D cable
Total: $1,647.78 with next-day
I mean... I could've spent $3000 for the system(pay in cash) but... I gotta save money, you know.:nono:

LoL. Some people just never learn. :stick:
LoL. Seeing how they are ATI products, I tend to listen to ATI. Nah, no human error can ever happen when making a website...never...you browser fixes those automatically, right?Quote:

guess the was wrong .. still dont see why they would put it up tho:confused:
Well, I'm glad to hear if your card is rated to run at 2000mhz mem.Quote:

You see... this is why I don't like the company screwing with my mind. I hate that. Why don't they just put up "2000mhz" in the ATi property tool AND in the Sapphire webpage. You know.. it's not that hard to do. I just can't stand it...
That's what I mean. That is why I went for the "Built By ATi" instead. I don't like Sapphire company's lazy attitude. I would fear they do the same on the build quality/parts of the card. I would question them... this is very serious stuff, guys. :banana:Quote:

The standard is the key term here... very important stuff. I hate confusions.... I would want to spend a lot of money on a company who is very theral... I don't want to make a company rich if they don't provide accurate info and good build quality.. as well as the service. This Mhz confusion bull sh#t needs to be ceased. hehe
LoL. Won't YOU feel silly when the card YOU get is just the same.
"2D" speeds are slower because of Vista. Otherwise the power consumption and heat output of the card would be almost the same as running some fullscreen3D.
Oh, wait...that's what Aeroglass IS.
Even better yet...Sapphire MAKES the ATI-branded cards too, so ya just screwed yourself over. You paid more for the EXACT same card, and got less in the package to boot.:fact:
Bravo, sir, Bravo! Next time maybe listen to the people that actually have the hardware first next time, rather than someone that simply drools over it.:fact:
cadaveca, do you know who I am?? .. I'm "whatever" at aoaforums. How could you be so cold. I'm hurt. :(
Hope we have no hard feelings. :) You know my style... I'm sometimes a bit too arrogant.. and stockup, sorta speak. But that's me!! I've been way behind with today's hardware... I've been away from this for so long you know.. :(
know who you are lol. That's why the harsh reality..i think you can take it. Besides, have I EVER led anyone astray? EVER?
LOL.
yea i sure can.. since you know me I feel comfortable. :) no you haven't.. you a cool guy. Give me huggie!! j/k.... :)
My attitude goes crazy sometimes.. eek! lol
Thanks for the info about the cards though, cadaveca. I'm still proud to own a card built by ATi! :D
You mean owning a TSMC/Sapphire part designed by ATI...don'tcha?:p:
:toast:
llol no hard feelings cadaveca ;) least the guy got his 2ghz of gddr4 lol
It looks as some kind of misunderstanding or a human error to me :)
Normal clocks here ..
