Incredible high clocks mate, nicely done. And yes as Sume04 mentioned, those can't be very cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. ;)

Very impressive frequency there, but I still prefer CAS4 :D Have you benched at those clocks with anything else than Everest? Nevertheless,

Let's see what it will cost, once it's available in US. But $210+ is what other vendors want for PC2-8000/PC2-8500 kits of 2x512MB. Just look at Corsair or GeiL. Expensive, but what can you do...

GSKILL DDR2 1000 HZ 512*2 is """""D9GKX""""", not D9GMH.
Don't use GMH price compare with GKX price.

If GKX price is the same GMH, everyone wouldn't want to GMH.

i've found the 2x1gb DCkit here

no , ur totally wrong:)
ths pair is ddr2-1000+ epp supported , non a ddr2-800.
please, make sure what u think before saying.

Guys, there is no point it this arguement... As I said, just look at the prices of other 2x512MB PC2-8000/PC2-8500 kits - Corsair 8500, GeiL 8000, Kingston 8500, etc - they ALL cost in US more than $210, period. That's how vendors price their highest frequency RAM. I'm pretty sure, G.Skill would be no different if they sold 8500 2x512MB parts on Newegg, maybe slightly cheaper...

if i remember correctly, EPP Adata is using D9GMH? not GKX? i am not sure yet
but it is good to see DDR2 1340
wonder what is going to be in DFI NF590..... would be woot!!!

A-Data EPP is D9GMH.
Anyone happen to test these out in an AM2 system? I am having a rough time with mine... getting horrible performance for the speeds. SANDRA is pushing 8300/8300 for these A-Data where the VX2 does 9400/9400...

yup, as i said, EPP version is D9GMH , assuranced 1000+(5)
none EPP version is D9GKX, same 1000+(5), they both sell the same price.:)
-
BTW,
ADATA's DDR2-800 512mb is Elpida ICes, 1024mb is Hynix

Haha, wow that's interesting... and rare.
I also have to take back about what I said about the poor performance. I am an idiot, tis all. I somehow forgot that I was playing with a 1GB kit and not a 2GB. So, :slapass: for me.

Same goes for the 2*1 gig modules?
A reviewer seems to think so: http://www.techgage.com/article/a-da...reme_edition/2

Thanks for your reply and the review.
I got my 2GB kit (from memory-configurator, those Irish guys have really fast shipping btw) the other day and they are marked EPP. But they might not be as i havn't got a NF-board and will probably go Ati chipset soon so epp doesn't really matter to me. Think they are still Gkx???
Can't give you any nice benches thanks to my dodgy motherboard. I'll burn them in and try them out on a new board soon I hope.

Any update for your max CAS 5 ?
