I'm working on the vmch. I think I got it figured out, but I'll verify it first.
I'll see if I can find out vdimm too.
ja, det hadde vært fint! :)
Lookin forward to it! :) my D9 needs more volt than 2.3 and mch more than 1.45
Here you go!
I have tried them both myself. I take no responsibility if your board stops working, etc. Enjoy!
Just over the dimm slots

thanks
are u using the 13 bios? and vdimm? are those ddr2 micron D9 fat?
Haven't had much time with the board, so I haven't tried how good it clocks memories.
I've run both BIOS 13 and a 14Beta, but I didn't notice any difference in overclocking between them.
I use Beta Bios 'AB9-018" and This is some result I can get from this bios.No need to Vmod.:)
If I've more time for this board I'll post for more result.

where I can take this beta bios? :toast:
would love to se that with higher multipl...
i have the 14 bios and cant change multipl (ES) and the board wont let me get moore than 401.5 even if i set it to 500.. stays at 401.5 x 9 that is.
does this ab9-18 bios fix this issue?

VCORE MOD
Solder a 100Kohm variable resistor between these two points :

Props to Hipro5 for explaining his mod for the AW9D-MAX vcore mod which lead to this :toast:
gone test next week all vmods , any vcore read out point ?
oyes how to let set abit guru fsb above 400 ?
Download the newer version of the program from ABIT's website... It let it up to 600mhz
Just curious what the VR should be set at before start up so as not to fry anything?:eek:Quote:

Maximum resistance to begin with (100k).
Thanks
How much Vdimm can I get with this MOD?
And how should I set Vmch to set the voltage in the VR
Tanx
(sorry for my bad english)
any vdroop mod?
Nice vmods Crotale and Johny Brafo.
Vdroop mod would be nice, vcore read point to. I dont know if i can trust the readings from Uguru.
uGuru reads it pretty well, and my board doesn't need a droop mod in my opinion.Quote:

no vdroop mod crotale??
As I wrote in my post above, I don't see the need for a droop mod.
How much does your board droop?
Normally AB9 has about 0,05v vdroop as p5b-dlx..
Max bench before vmch mod was 463fsb,just tested a little after the vmch mod,but big improvement
Got to install a new cpu and nb waterblock, then i will test for max fsb :D
Thanks alot guys

463FSb just benchable right? I could only run spi 1m on 463fsb.Quote:

At 463fsb i did run Superpi 1M,32M 3DMark 01,03,05,06 Aquamark 03,just about every Bench i want, that was with stock nbcooler, only a extra 7cm fan on top of it. The cpu was cooled by a old Swiftech, but it has been replaced with a AC Cuplex XT,and tomorrow im goona fit a EK Wave on the cpu..lol..Quote:

And hitting 475fsb was with the same setup, watercooled cpu, aircooled nb,stability on 475 i dont know, just my first test and i was just taking a screenshot and shut her down, dont wanna kill her before i put on the watercooler.
Heres a few pics from 463fsb benching with my E6300 and Msi 7900GTO

No pencil mod is available yet? :(
I know it's not accurate, but it's not bad after my experience with p5b-dlx.. And more easy than soldering.. :)
@ownage,you wanna see moore :D
http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l9...480vmch162.jpg
Just open the window in my room,+5`c outside. Now i wait for the waterblock, there is moore left,my goal is 500fsb :woot:
As promised,500fsb
Do not ask if its stable, just tested her with the nb waterblock.
Now i will find max for the hole sh##.

Nice results Norz, congratz.
Now if only Abit would raise the bios vmch limit :D
@ownage,hey man,you are currently in the extreme vmod forum :DQuote:

@crotale
my board vdroop about 0,4~0,6 when full load..
do you think it need vdroop mod?coz that droop is so annoying,
You mean 0.04-0.06v right?Quote:

Where do you measure vcore?
Good work Norz!
ups sorry,,:D:D ur right 0,04~0,06v
i measure it from vcore read out on shown by ur post #33
Crotale, I saw that you changed the mod a little, but can I stay using the old scheme?
And another question is: I watercool ma NB, but temps here in brazil are very high, and the ND keeps @ 33°C... How much FSB should I get with this temps, and how much voltage I can set safely?
Tanks alot!
Sorry for my bad english
Got myself some D9###,wanna do the vdimm mod also again, but where is read out on vdimm? ...have i been missing something....
----cheers----
They are the same, both works.Quote:

@crotale
Thinking of the vdimm mod,but where is the read out?
I usually measure it directly in the dimm slots.

@crotale
Thanks :D

16 ver of bios guys improves any overclock issues?
Answer: no,nope,nada:(Quote:

Any news?
check my personal record out... almost 500FSB @ 1.9v Vmch
water temp was 5°C
maybe tomorrow I set 1.95 to reach 505 fsb and maybe break 15s...
http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/9822/uiasn5.jpg
What about VFSB/CPU VTT Voltage? Is there any mod? Or is VMCH the only way to high FSB? I reach 440 primestable with standard cooling, max was 450 primestable with 10-12°C room temperature, now I'm waiting for a new heatsink.
Well i guess its not necessarie
We need a 1333strap bios! than we can overclock better
