Greetz,
Remorfer

Hey, okay...sounds very good
Maybe you have some more informations why this could be? :fact:
-
wow i didnt know conroe could run at 88c!!!!!! there i was thinking 60c is to hot?????
-
88 DEGREES!!!! Thats like MELTING THE SOLDER HOT. Didn't Shamino rip 2 cores off @ 85 Degrees while trying to remove IHS's?!?
in-freakin-sane...
-
Dam what is too hot for these chips?
I am runnin scared @ 62
-
Coolaler:
what kind of CFM's does that rear 120 MM fan put out?....
the reason i am asking; is it sufficient to pull enough air over that monster heat sink?
-
did you happen to find the boardst max stable fsb?
do you really think AsusProbe was correct about the temps
i mean, did you touch the Heatsink?
@ T>70 you are not supposed to touch the heatpipes for over 2-3secs
T.I.A.

very nice!
which lian li is that? I think it's the one I'm going to buy soon since my antec superlanboy has started rattleing :/

good point. doesn't seem like it could really be 85 or it's a sink seating problem maybe? In any case, so far the board seems only on par with an average P5WDH.
Cooaler, can you try at 1.85Vmch at over 400fsb?

does this apply to the non-pro version as well?
-
If you look at the intel data sheet for the i975x mch controller oddly enough it says any bank can be populated in any order to run dual channel mode.
http://download.intel.com/design/chi...s/31015801.pdf
Section 9.2.2.1
I guess the best way to find out if it works on your board would be to try it.
-
wonder when it'll be available in the US?
-
This might be a silly questions..
But whats the pro/cons against Asus P5W-DH ???
-
That is very likely not the real temperature at all.

I will try and run a SLI setup with an Areca 1120 on this board! I have the board, the 2 7950's, just waiting on the PSU and memory.
Cheers,
AP
Edit: Corrected model of raid card.

2 7950's and a 1220 won't work, you only have 2 16x slots
-
Im very skeptical of that board. Coolaler seems to hit bus speeds none of us can, for whatever reason. I hope im proven wrong if people decide to buy this board, but my gut tells me otherwise.
Nice results Coolaler.

Wow these guys sure do test alot of products...coolaler has tested like every conroe cpu, most the main mobos, alot of ram, graphic cards, psus...I'm not sure whether he bought this stuff or not, but thats a crap load of money! Do people get this stuff shipped to them for free or something cuz thats alotttt of money.

well besides the obvious differences you can see by reading spec sheets, I've heard a different motherboard team worked on this one
-
This board is by far the best 975 ever unless Foxconn 975 AB board shows up;)
Nice work:)

I have the manual in front of me. I can do some digging through it, if you have Q's on something covered there.
I also would love to see a schematic of the chipset layout for this one.
Cheers,
AP.

I would love a solid 1000mhz oc when my chips come in.
