So is this the same chipset that the previous p5n32 had?
New pictures :)
I install XP with XE6800 | 2Go Corsair PC8500C5 | nVIDIA 7950GX2
I have a second 7950GX2 to test Quad SLI :D

check how high you can raise the FSB
probably 330-340
LOL @ the southbridge heatpipe
Umm bit random init like .....
When testing Quad SLI, include benchmarks at 2580x1600 please...you do have a Dell 30" LCD right?? ;)
Ja......... the FSB! THE FSB! I've got an E6600, and with 590 boards only showing up to 320 right now... I'm open to anything!
y dont more ppl but the asus silent square?
how does it compare to the freezer 7 pro?
First, the result in overclocking (aircooling Asus Silent Square) : XE6800@3794MHz | 1.55v
CPU-z validator : http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=110869
For the QuadSLI... :(
3DMark2006 : XE6800 + 7950GX2 = 8402pts
3DMark2006 : XE6800 + 2x 7950GX2 = 9013pts
I have make test with drivers 91.37(beta) and the new 91.45...

http://users.skynet.be/fb331210/photo9.jpg
:D I guess thats not a bad start.
Whats the board like to work with? :) How much was it, if you dont mind my asking?
Keep pushing! :D
NF4 wasn't the best OCer... it was trash wasn't it? Why would it change now?
However not bad considering that is probably the highest an NF4 has ever gone!!!
give me some hope here!! push that fsb!!
It's my bench of test (homemade) :DQuote:

Nice. Keep going! :woot:
you benching on air, water and phase? dude, sweet
Aircooling for the moment for CPU.Quote:

I have make a test with my E6700 in aircooling and the max FSB is 352MHz... (http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=110893)
Tomorrow, I use my prommy :D

i saw the phase set up there, thought you might show us some real cooling, lol
can't you lower the multiplier and try for more?
if you can't in bios, just enable EIST, then use CrystalCPUID to lower the multiplier from windows.
lol @ moonrakers sig :)
pitty the drivers arn't supporting quad properly yet
drivers where released today, weren't they?
No, I have tested with higher multiplier but not with lower... (good idea)Quote:

That's my stab at it anyway.
Yes, the two card have the same bios.
The first is an Nvidia and the second an eVGA BlackPearl.
so did you flash one or did they both come with same bios retail?
How much was the BlackPearl? BTW, that's a very nice setup, very artistic looking. :toast:Quote:

No flash.Quote:

I make test this evening.
any luck getting it higher than 350fsb?
I have been able to get 333MHz FSB 100% rock solid stable. Instant E6600 -> 3.00GHz w/ 1.1 memory @3-3-3-6. :D
However...my FSB won't go much further
Going to try this board with an XE6800 to use the Multi and see what I can do...
hmmm, 350 fsb isnt that bad for a light overclock motherboard, but its not worth paying 280.
wow 350 is higher than i thought.:D
Nice Rig. :D
Why can nVidia not make chipsets, who can run: FSB 450 + :slap:
Is this the 590 chiposet one which is on the website , also the HSF , how good is that , it looks the business and would prefer one than something else.
HSF the bigger the better.
its only today that i found out the the board is going to be a 590sli , i have had the E6600 for a long time and i am tired of waiting .(three weeks)
Hopefully will have aboard next week . Keep them fingers cross
Forgot one thing , amazing.
Every enthusiast dreams of this but only the rich ones get to play with it , whilst us poor dudes just have to look and admire, its all good though.
One day when it comes quite old find it on the ebay for £100 (1 years time)
Still buy it then what ever happens, i expect to see a lot of sandwiched cards in the next two years. Times are good.
I was saving up for my 7950xxx for three months before i could buy it but it happened and it rocks.
Needed a cool cpu to go with it and i even have that now , the E6600.
Great watercooling kit , wish i see something like that in the future.
will you post bios set up ?Quote:

There is a new BETA BIOS 0305 for this ASUS P5N32-SLI SE DELUXE mobo.
Over at: ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/mb/so...20SE%20Deluxe/
It fixes the memory allocation problem owners, including myself, were initially experiencing.
Windows now reports 2GB memory available when using Quad-SLI 7950 GX2 video cards when using 2GB of memory. Where as before Windows would report 1GB available when you actually had 2GB installed.
bump for those interested in this mobo.
i'm interested in the board if it can hit 400FSB. any luck?
hey i got a problem with this bord it only operates with 8x speed
http://peecee.dk/uploads/0906/ggg.jpg
IF you are running QUAD sli.... it will show 8xQuote:

I have this same problem on my Asus M2N32 590SLI board, and I am running 2x 7950gx2's.
Hope that helps
I second that request :D I really want to see the voltages @ ~350 fsb,Quote:

I might be wrong, & until I figure out the dividers I can't rule out my DDR2-533 as the limiting factor. But my first impression is that I will keep this board for a e6400 at the very least, & perhaps get a P5b for this e6300 chip :D
ths mobo, open multi from 6~20 with x6800
How do you get such a high FSB?
I have a E6600, same board, g.e.i.l. 800mhz 4-4-4 memory and over 310mhz fsb my windows won't load. Am i doing something wrong?
nothing most likely, NF4 IE is just a horrible OC chip
Are you running 1:1 PhydomiR? ie 1240/620 (fsb/ram) at the mo? Set mem timings manually, loose enough & correct vmem for the GEIL?
My NB voltage is ~1.55v, memory 1.9v, and vcore default at 7x345mhz (or 1380/690 in fsb/ram terms). Also fsb termination is @ 1.215v, this is from memory so forgive any mistakes - I can't reboot this machine atm to check.
With a higher multiplier chip I suppose you might need more vcore, I'm not sure when the vcore requirement ramps up for higher mhz C2D, since mine is only 2.4Ghz atm. GL
Best I can do on this board:
http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/7...titled1hz7.jpg
It's probably the Crush 19 chipset on this board that is holding my FSB to 320.
Yes i run mem 1:1. But i set the mem volt to 2.1 (sticker on the mem sais 2.1v). Maybe i should also raise the NB voltage then.Quote:

Anyone tried to get higher FSB with VMods ?
Just hanging arround 330MHz with E6600, will be happy to get full 3GHz ;)
