Intel D975XBX mod
Team DDR2_667 1g*2, very small but strong D9s :D
vdimm=2.7v @.@

Yes, they are different. D9 is just what Micron calls DDR2. There are many D9 variants, this being one of them. The fatbodies are D9DQT and D9DQW only and are no longer made. These, however, are good sticks, but the term D9 is very ambigous.

you know it, when I say it's 2.2, then ppl will challenge 2.25 or2.3v
so I will say 2.2 for sure in order to not let some "powerful users" burn out their modules and complete :banana::banana::banana::banana: about Team Group Sucks

I think those "powerfull users" are (or at least should be) wise enough to know it's their fault when the ram "burns out" by excessive voltage ;)
Besides most regular motherboards support only 2.3 vdimm.
(:edit: little question about ram: can it be killed by too high vdimm if it's cooled well enough? when mine arrive I want to try some subzero)

if that high vdimm is only for bench purpose(but not long and high like 2.5v+), then I don't see anything wrong with that. However, I can tell if the case your ram burned out is because you give too much juice ..;)

Stop it Kev....you're gonna talk yourself into a corner....just tell them all that they WILL void their warranty if they use their ram @ 2.2+V....simple as that....anything more than default is to be taken at their own risk....

BTW, all sticks of this model use the same D9 non-fatbody IC´s? I am looking around for some nice ram for my next conroe setup, and those seem not to be very expensive here in Spain, because of that, I need the exact model of the ram... ;)

seems only D9DKX and D9DMH are good.
both volt. sensitive.
but D9DMH maybe have some better timings arround 550mhz
D9DKX maybe 10mhz higher than D9DMH with same volt with Trd losen.

besides, D9DMH only about half the price of D9DKX @.@
