Send it to me for more testing. Nice scores bro. Im working on trying to get my 6300 above 3.2ghz.
well~~ i think eat some E66 step 5 will help you out on air 3.5G XDQuote:

Well shoot, I was hoping that was going to be an E6600. And that you just might be testing it out for me before you send it out. :D LOL
Those Stepping 5 Conroes look to be doing excellent.

sweet mother of moses!
it's on air.. but what temp air? can we see it again with something showing cpu temps? :toast:
i second that :clap:Quote:

this sure can go into 13M59S....
God damn 4ghz on air
Nice chip indeed! ;)
Those step 5 cpu's are looking good :D
(retail isn't it?)
Retail sample most likely.
good stepping 5:toast:
I wonder...where he got it from;)

And the prophecy is brought to truth....lol. 4GHz on air will be the norm for retail chips. ;)

1.6v on 65nm with air, isn't that like ~1.75v for 90nm. :p:
I'm curious what it does on 1.5v tho, I bet you wouldn't run it 24/7 with 1.6v on air... Just wanna know whereabouts the max 24/7 usage clocks lands for Conroe. If E6700 maybe can do ~3.7GHz on air for 24/7 usage and E6600 3.5 - 3.6GHz for example it will be very sweet. :woot:
Very nice,
Damn impressive. Makes me wonder what this one can do on water or Phase :)
holy cow batman!
:toast: :toast: :toast:  :toast:
Awesome.. There Conroe chips continue to surprise me. :toast:
Impressive step 5! :woot:
That is sick, just plain sick. I am amazed, awesome work.
lolQuote:

Wow, simply amazing. A 50% overclock on air. With a 13s SuperPi_1M on air to boot!
FCG was right, of course. :fact: :toast:
Damn good! But you should finish off drwatson32.exe in task manager on that last pic. As you see it's got the hold of 2% cpu power. You can also finish off all other processes running under the administrator column, exept explorer.exe if you want a to see your desktop, but it isn't really needed.
if drwatson32.exe appears, it means pi crashQuote:

some pentium D (920D, 930D, ..) already died with more than 1.45v , i think its too risky use 1.60v and only with aircooling , but anyway good job .
regards
Denny ain't the only one to have a 4GHz air-'stable' proc ;)

The WC is for the XTX, nothing else.
Mem was at 400 4-4-4-8 :-/
U use pipes for air? xD
hehe just kiddin...
step 5 is impressive
XtR3M3 results and all with AIR...
i gotta have this !&*#%!@*$J&*@#$^$&*@#%!#& Conroe
Oh really? Then I've learnt a new thing today :)Quote:

Nice work Eric...glad to see it all worked out for you :toast:
You don't need to downclock it...an oced AMD would feel the same against conroe xD
LOL @ stephen :slap:
Man O man, I worked my butt off to get a decent stepping 170, I got 3G on air then these things come out and can do 4g on air :(
What to do now?
Conroe FTW!!!
lol
Sweat mother of God!!! 4G on extreme air!!! Would love one in my case. Watercooled of course. :D
Nice work, makes me wet myself...
WTG! :woot:Quote:

so can anyone that has some experience with these processors say that 4ghz under decent watercooling will work for a 24/7 dual prime setup?
i think probably not unless you get a really lucky cpu but i could be wrong what do you guys think?
I heard if you stick a big tray of ice and a towel under the case you can hit 4.2 :p
Excellent job :)
what the max at more 24/7 friendly volts like 1.45? 3.7?
Game Benchmarks if you don't mind.
Amazing clocks there on Air.
Conroe Step 5 is really a golden stepping
Hopefully I'll have some 3D runs up tomorrow with my WC'd XTX...and some numbers on what to expect with what volts
I can tell you that at <1.5V, I was booting at 3.7 and it wasn't giving me the slightest bit of trouble, ran everything perfectly :D

Denny, have you tried disabling 1 core? any improvement?
now thats really nice,4ghz on air o my.
I hope your Conroe doesnt burn up :P.
1.6V thru a 65nm Chip is just simply insane.
Your crazy :O.
and you were right ;)Quote:

You surely have a 5 GHZ capable chip there
that aint insane.. more like 1.7 air would be though. with some ln2 on it it could handle 1.8v
2.9v od DIMMs  They can take some voltage, can't they? :) Awesome, I knew you'd get that 32M @ 4G done
Amazing results :)
That is amazing :slobber:, trfc 17 is pretty good for ddr2 at 500mhz :clap:Quote:
DDR2 1000 3-4-3-1 XD

very nice game benchies there... i DLed 06 earlier, and hit a tidy 1204 points...lol! you are getting ~10x that...
congrats on that, it is an awesome chip.
Wow, holy crap. Very nice results.
what motherboard?
Probably the Intel BadAxe.Quote:
