Dfi roadmap only show the 975x as Infinity,but it would be awesome to see it as a Lanparty ;p

If it come as a Lanparty,i may consider getting it instead of the R600

the Infinity has always been the same as the Lanparty's for overclockablity AFAIK, they just lack the UV board, and a lot of extras the Lanparty's come with.

not quite. I have had both at the same time. The Lanparty overclocks slightly better, possibly due to the better power support and voltage options. However I don't see the voltage going much higher than this :slobber: but I think we will be seeing a digital PWM on all future Lanparty boards

Cool, I'm gonna trust your Xtreme intel on this one and hang fire on my Conroe build! Was gonna plump for a P5B or P965 Platy, but if an uber DFI board is only 3 months out, I'd rather wait :D

Sorry to dig this thread up from the dead, but are you absolutely totally 1000% sure about this dude? Don't mean to question your intel, but I literally haven't head ANYONE else mention a 975X Lanparty board, and to the contrary many people have said there will never be one... is Oskar still working on it, or is it only in fact the RD600 and nForce 500 boards that will come out as Lanparty?

Why use 975X when RD600 completely Owns 975X at stock and overclocked and it overclocks farther too :rolleyes:

Because I wouldn't touch a PoS AMD (sic) chipset with a 10ft barge pole :p: The main reason I want to move back to Intel is because of their amazingly stable chipsets and drivers.

And "completely owns the 975X at stock" is a horrible over-exaggeration :rolleyes:

the benchmarks dont show much difference between the two, but the Intel chipset sure does hold a commanding lead in the memory speed. You would think the extra bandwidth would allow for higher benchmarks, but clearly that isnt the case. I wonder whats up.

well, the number's Sumanji gathered aren't from the final version, the only part that the CURRENT version tested that has problems is the ASync memory, which shows in Everest, ever think maybe nn saw something else, maybe even did his own testing, that he can't release info on? funny how most of what he does say comes true....yet you all seem to only pick and choose what info he gives out, u like...and stuff from fugger/fcg/etc are word of god(not that anything they've said aren't true)

The NF2 infinity's were like that, but the Nf4 infinity's were of a completly different PCB design.
