Going to be testing 2x and 3x GTX 480s on water with a 980x also on water this next week. No LN2 or DICE for this round unfortunately... Will be fun anyway. :D
Thanks guise :)
Excellent work Mr Foyle! :up::clap:
Job well done!
Nice scores guys

A special congrats to NAMEGT for bringing the WPrime 3x WRs back home to XS where they belong!
@ namegt
세계 기록 이름 GT으로 축하합니다! 당신이 엉덩이를 걷어!
A quick update with today's scores, I will probably post another update later:

G.Foyle has posted his 16k PCMark 05 single core WR, and SteveRo has pushed his Q6600 to 4.3GHz and scored 25619 points in one of his favourite benchmarks, PCMark 05.
Then we have zeneffect who is pushing the GTX 460 he won at Blizzcon for the Asus 1156 competition.
Last but not least, SteveRo has run all the 2D benchmarks on his Celeron 440 and scored a fair amount of points as well.
Good work guys!
We passed 16200 points this weekend!
Edit:
In the 6th stage of the Asus competition which ended about an hour ago three of our members participated again. FUGGER came in 5th, Brian 7th and zeneffect 10th. In the Overall Rankings Brian is now at 4th place, FUGGER is ranked 7th and zeneffect 9th.
HWBot's OC Challenge October 2010 ended just a few minutes ago, and we were able to win this competition, thanks to an excellent team effort! Especially chew*, SteveRo and G.Foyle have been pushing hard in this competition.
Great work everyone!
Thanks Mr. Don, alright - we won! go team!
edit - November's hwbot competition is pcmv! All right!
I think I can make a contribution to the team for this one too. :yepp:
Either chew* or NAMEGT, they have the best 3 core WPrime scores of the team.
I have a 920 D0 on the way but Computurd already has an excellent 4x score - can he submit it even though it was prior to 01Nov?
edit - Mr Massman answered in the bot thread - older submissions are fine as long as they conform to the other submission rules.
A 920 will boost your scores a bit, and it's also worth lots of points!
Massman replied in the HWBot forums:
Just had a look at his score, he only has a verification link, not sure if a screenshot is needed in this competition. But it's indeed an excellent score, why did he choose not to participate in the rankings?Quote:
Yeah, limited to 4x CPU because I want to see CPU limited runs :-)
Older benches can be submit as long as they fit the limitations
Based on the competition requirements/rules - I'll need to rerun my previous submissions, I don't have cpuz showing mobo and pcmv window showing my subscores - this is included in the futurmark validation link but the futurmark link is not sufficient for this competition. :(
Everyone - Don't forget to get these in your screenshots!
Futuremark link instead of "cpuz showing mobo and pcmv window showing subscores" may not fly. :(
ORB is pretty weak at displaying accurate hardware info so everyone should prefer to have both screenshot and link. I hate when someone submits a PCMark score based on the link only or pic only.
nice job everyone in the oct contest. I got ln2 and ended up working all weekend. :(. i was unable to get past 350 ht on the asus m489gtd pro/usb3. nice htt but not enough to get the single core scores I needed for anything decent. nice board though. I also managed to kill my 5850 by pulling it out of the board while without discharging the board. oops.
Mr. Transam - sorry to hear about you 5850 (tuff luck) but now you have an excuse to get a 5870!
And if that wasnt enough I score 25k in pcmark05 last night on a x3 and 5770 but couldnt submit because the 05install gave me a corrupt submission file. I cant win! yeah the 5850 is a bummer. I think Im gonna wait for the 6900 series to arrive. if they are really supposed to come out before jan I can wait a month. can you belive its already november!!? what the november contest supposed to be?
PCMark Vantage on different cored CPUs. I'm especially interested whether Core 2 Duo or Phenom II X2 will take the dual core crown.
Myself I'm probably not going to play this month (had to return the SSDs).
Mr Foyle - 2x core - best score should be an intel dual core 32nm with HT and with the new instruction set - wait - do the Phenom's have the instruction set?
edit - http://software.intel.com/en-us/arti...tructions-set/
maybe just intel has this then.
