Your pictures are absolutely beautiful. Just goes to show what you can do even with stock stuff. :)
I've been running my 28-135mm + 30D a year and a half, won a contest with some pictures, and have even started a part time business doing portraits.
No need to spend $$$$'s on really really really nice stuff (at first), get something reasonably priced and move on from there. :)

someone tell me what this damn picture looks like, my laptop looks overbright, my desktop & Dell 2407 WFP looks overdark and richer colors.
so i cant tell how the hell it looks.

made a trip to the local park w/ a duck pond, found this naked tree all by its lonesome.

You can saturate that tiny bit, but its ok - lifelike colors/brightness.

A very heavily tuned Mercedes CL, they cost a forture in Switzerland without the customization. This model had a full custom interior including, what appeared to be, snake skin on the custom seats and wood everywhere. The engine note was to die for. I wouldn't say this is the right thing to do to a Mercededs CL, but each to his own.

Not a very good picture, but I like it anyway.
