oddly enough i re-did the os before i did the conversion (as i did not know that i was going to do it at the time) and ive got no issues with a q6600
You guys need to update your sigs now :ROTF:
The Maximus Formula hasn't been out that long or has it? I haven't even got mine installed in my case yet because I was waiting for some other stuff. But I would never have paid this much money for a board if I knew they were going to discontinue it so fast. That is just insane. Its not even out of its bug stage yet. Its been almost 3 months now since Asus has put out an official update to the bios.
Next time I buy a board, its going to be a cheap lower end board. Apparently the warranty means nothing if Asus doesn't even carry stock to replace it.
I know that Mwave.com still has stock of the Maximus Formula. I had purchased mine from them.
I like my name, "Maximus Rampage" instead of "Maximus Formula"? :D
Raximus
Maxpage
Or, what I have in my sig:
Rampage Formula SE (X38 Edition)
im gonna call mine the "Maxpage Formula" :)
ASUS is being a pain, Check out my thread in my sig about them and my Maximus.
Maximus Rampage for sure!
yeah ok count me in too.

also its only a way to get back to the rampage bios, not its romid though it should be possible seeing the 2 different rom id's to use a hex editor and change the romid manually... :(
though looking @ a hex editor i can see that i would be able to mod this bios pretty easily though i dont think its the best solution to this problem...
im gonna get me that unicorn...
I've actually played with MMTool and the Rampage Bios before and I couldn't get it to work...
So what are you looking to do, fix the Rampage ID so we can flash to and from the Rampage and Maximus?
that was the idea, but then it occurred to me you would be stuck with the rampage id so every time you go back to maximus you would have to use a modded bios or mod the bios yourself. the best thing to do should have been change the rampage id to maximus so you could switch back... but alas i got too anxious :p:
If the CPU Clock Ratio is set at Auto it fluctuates from 6 - 8 but when I set it manually to 10, it only stays at 10.
How do I manually set a range, like 8 - 10?
Thanks
ZenEffect;

i wanna do a little delta compare/
keep me updated; im still here.
