There are 0550VPMW with 1,375Vc going the 3 Gig without HS.
My is too warm for that Low Vcore.

Mine is dual prime stable 24hrs with 1.375v at 2800mhz. I have to agree these things run about 7 degrees warmer than my other chips! I'm currently researching a better cooling method

I have gone through this before. Prime for a bit and system freezes as soon as i stop priming. I think it's because of the way the mobo/PSU handle the power, after you end the load the voltage spikes downward for a sec and (probably) prompts the freeze.

The 1387678L505xx are know as the best batchers .. but i found out that almost every vpmw is doing 3ghz, some needs 1.375V (5xx batch) and others ~1.55V ..

Anyone managed to do a *Quad* Prime session yet? thats two primes on each core?

I'm doing dual priming on a mono-core Opteron, so if you wanna check that your rig is *uber* stable give it a whirl.

These 0550VPMW-s are amazing, just got one.:) Does 2,8ghz 1,375v with watercooling but can´t get 3ghz. I can bench 3ghz 1,475v but prime instantly fails, even with 1,625v, seems to get too hot.:confused:

Yeah,
With air I don't think I'm going to push more than 1.45v. That brings me to just below my 50C. It looks like I might be able to get away with just that bit of voltage for my 2900mhz to be stable. I think I could hit 3ghz with some better cooling. I'm trying to find a water cooling setup for less than 150 dollars!

I very much agree! I had to mount a panaflo 120mm 114CFM fan onto my big typhoon. Fixed the problem :)

Still runs hotter though.
