Mine is vertical and yes it has no problems holding the weight... it really is more a function of getting it to clamp down sufficiently! I ended up using 2 washer on the post that the clip normally feeds onto and tying the bars to the top of the existing 478 bridge. I have photo's here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...postcount=1671 I since have moved the bars from upside down to clamping ontop of the holes and using 16gauge wire to secure.Quote:

i got rig as written on my sig..
cpu aircooled with freezer 4 and vga watercooled with home made stuff and vodka
so what happened:
VGA temp @ idle = -15C
VGA temp @ load = -2C
pretty good, i used 40 degrees vodka in watercooling and it phuking freezed
when i used fans to cool the radiator so temp was under -40C:D
so i didnt use fans and got those temps on vga as i mentioned before(-2/-15C)
for cpu i used AC Freezer 4 with Thermaltake 12 fan @ 5.5k rpm
all was good, cpu temp went down to 7C and then it started to rise..
it rose to 120C cos phucking Freezer 4 heatpipes were frozen:eek:
so i dont recommend coolers with heatpipes for low temps...
mobos temp was -7C and it ran just fine..
damn that Freezer 4:nono: :(
lol, never heard of heatpipes freezing before.
häppens
i also thought ill test my rig in this freezeing cold (about -25 in tallinn). hard luck cause i also have heatpiped cooler :)
:Dbut it was like that:DQuote:

If so, it is really well priced right now...$45.00, plus shipping from mWave for a new retail product.

It will work but it's neither a good overclocker nor a very fast chip.Quote:

Ok, thanks for the info. :)Quote:

Pm 750+ct-479+p4p800-e deluxe
no post whatsoever, it just shuts off a second after I power on the system
Have you flashed the board to the 1006 bios with a P4 cpu first?
of course,Quote:

I am using the board + my 2.4c to type this out now, so I dont think the board is a problem
also, if I take out the 4 pin ATX connector which goes into the motherboard, it does not shut off immediately
I just get a black screen with no beeps/no post
but as soon as I plug the 4 pin atx back in the motherboard, the system shuts off
the 1006 doesnt support dothan, only bioses 1007 and later do.
Did You noticed that Performance on i875 with 2x512MB is uch better than 2x256 ??
10x230 2225 I saw 20s differences in Super Pi 16M
This is because of bank-interleaving. In small calculations like 1m the memory bandwidth isn't so important because much of the data fit's in the L2 cache. During bigger calculations bank interleaving is much more relevant as it increases memory bandwidth and much memory is needed to it the data during the calculation. This is also why K8 cpu's are clock for clock slower in 1m than Dothans but faster in 8m+.Quote:

My Geil One W didn't
on A64/i915 258MHz but with i875 only 230 :/
This is also why my 4x512 6-3-3-2@240 no pat was faster than 2x512@240 and pat.Quote:

hop :D
3588 synchro 5222
will try with coef 12 and desynchro
Awesome skirms that on cascade?
Also what jumpers is everyone using on the ct-479 just been told setting it to 400 is better
is it 2x256MB ??Quote:
