Lestat: I dont know what it is, I just checked other pics and its still there, I think it cause water was really shallow at that part, but I really dont know.
Yes it's because of shallow water and ripples.
Awesome pic ANP and Elisha!! :D

Did you try using a noise filter in PS on that photo ? I think it would have helped.
Can anyone help me to resize the displayed image?

What's a good resize freeware?

Not sure if this is what you want! Simple re-size in PS.
photoshop isn't a freeware ;) I'm using Fotosizer right now, but there is a visible loss of quality after it's resized :(
There is a subtle but noticeable difference between resized picture and original, both copies are previewed in windows photo viewer
Screen shot taken in paint, then saved as PNG, even then, the difference of dull colours, less sharpness is visible

Thrilla don't use photobucket, the way it compresses images you lose alot of detail. I moved to Flickr and find it is great for me :)
Maybe someone else here uses freeware, used PS for years!
Amazing shot Avatar, but pls post a smaller size, not all have superfast Internet.
Thrilla, I would too recommend moving to Flickr, that way you wont loose any details.
Jokester: I tried Neatimage, but I would loose details with the noise, so I let it go. Thanks though.

It's Victoria Peak in Hong Kong, one of the most popular and photographed destinations, there's bound to be similar images. Here's my worklog for the image. http://calgarytheatresystems.com/news/?p=376
I just wanted to know if there was a vBulletin command to auto resize the image down so I wouldn't choke people's bandwidth.
ANP, on your lake shots, how can you get those reflections? They are awesome.
Thanks Killer , The water was really calm over there, and the lake was surrounded by mountains on its four sides, so maybe the wind was not so high over the lake.
