Rained buckets and now it's lush and green and sunny and the damned birds just won't stop singing. If I see one more butterfly flutter by I think I'll rip my eyes out.
Just kidding.
It's very nice. And we have a porch lizard...or maybe he's a skink. I'll try and get a picture of him lounging...

Gah, freaking uni. Freaking powers of procrastination. 15-20 page major lab report due tomorrow, and I've done maybe 3 pages of it so far (and those are the intro pages and table of contents :p:). Death to lab reports!

I've seen some critturs this Spring that I didn't get to see last spring. I guess the hound was keeping them at bay...
Three days ago there was a Hatchling Corn Snake on the handrail of the porch. I was a little sketched out until I recognized the patterns...he/she was one of black/grey/white Corn Snakes and looked gorgeous...about 12" long or so and big around as my little finger. What a climber...my Kids and I watched the snake climb from the handrail into a nearby shrub and manuever throught the shrub...really interesting.
And the day before that me and the Girl child saw a Mother Hen Turkey and her chicks strolling along our gravel road...
And last night the kids found a flourescent orange Salamander down in the clearing I'm working on. He was only 2" long.
and the usual Deer and Hawk sightings...
I had no idea the ancient hound was such a crittur detterent...even deaf and lame he still was doing his job.
Mornin' All, this morning sucks gotta go in again on my day off this time for a conference call on some new software they are looking to buy. Oh, coffee is brewin'....................
New cruncher poking head in and saying hi. That coffee sure does smell good!

Good morning, finally got my cruncher back a week or so again, been sitting all by itself 100 km away from me in an empty apartment :( Putting to good use now my friends, fear not.

I had a somewhat bad weekend but I'm feeling a bit better today so I'm going to trailer up the wheeler and take my daughter riding.
