Ah, I seem to have put myself in an awkward situation right there, my apologies. :)
Sharp image you have there, would be nice if you could get the focus on the eyes though. However, I saw your comment about the dog not looking at you very often on Flickr, so it's not bad.
That last one is my favorite, I love the multiple layers that you've captured. The crowd in the foreground, the mountains in the background, the plane in the sky, and the red in the middle. I'd love to see it a little bigger. :)
Interesting subject, I'd recommend that you correct the white balance a little though, really easy to do. As it is, it's quite yellow. :)
Elisha, what lens are you using for this one? The kit lens?
Here's mine for today, another self portrait that I took yesterday.

elisha get the 50mm 90$ cheap and with your skill and camera i think we can see amazing pics :D
incore let me see if my lack of skill produces a better white balance
It's really easy to do, if you don't own a photo editing software you can head to www.picnik.com. Upload you picture, and you can now either press "Auto Fix" which doesn't always give the best results or press "Colors" and then pull the "Temperature" slider to the left of right, depending if you want it colder or warmer. In your case, I'd pull it left to around 50 or so. :)

From a recent storm over here, power was out, so why not take a walk in the rain? Canon "weather-sealing" performed admirably.
nate - love that picture!!
