I have this board pluged and working perfectly:) Its so far best and easiest MB i've ever had:) As now its perfect:) New bios is good and settings in bios are just awsome:)
I have a question which Sata ports should i use on my Vertex 3? Sata 1,2 are Marvell, and 3,4 are Intel's. Which one's will be better to use?
i may have made to many tweaks but i have low writte speed on my ssd having it on marvel's. REad is around 500 and writte is 140:(
140 ??? WTF? Did you try with intel?s ports??? I think the red ones are Sata 3 you should try with that.
Two top red ones are Marvel 6Gb SATA ports.
Next two red ones are Intel 6Gb SATA ports.
Next two grey ones are Intel 3Gb SATA ports
Vertex3 go for Intel 6Gb ports (red ones top of grey ports).
Im running intel 6gb ports in Raid0 at write speeds of 880MB/s and read speeds of 920MB/s.
I have installed my vertex on intel's port but i guess there is something wrong with drivers. Should S.M.A.R.T should be enabled in bios?
Also i am unable to install Windows 8 from usb:) I was jus curious how it looks and works but when i use windows usb/dvd tool (the original from windows) afterr booting what i see is blinking spacebar.
