well, yeah, after reading the conclusion and overall performance charts from some of the reviews in the review-thread it seems that the gtx480 sits right between the 5870 and 5970. 10-15% faster than 5870, 10-15% slower than 5970.
huge letdown, tbh, especially due to the high power consumption :(
anandtech review seems up yes, but has trouble loading :D
ot edit, so rumours are confirmed, hot,marginally faster and expensive.

5970CF so you are talking about QUAD GPU, ya I never said that. However 5870CF a fair comparison does lose if that is what you intended to mean. You don't have to take my word for anything I've been in this thread the entire time and read every single post and looked at all the numbers. It is a known fact that SLI does provide a better multi-GPU experience vs CF there are only rare cases that CF is better if an SLI profile isn't available or optimized.Quote:
