Ya I'm gonna try bios 74 or 73 as thosse seemed to be the best ones ! I also got a 950 CPU coming in to. Replce the 940co . ;)
Well when you flashed your bios did you remember to set defuaults on everything ? Clear CMOS etc.. Can you even get into post or you get stuck on just an error when you freeze up ?
Try loading with just defualt and not optimized .. When I get home tonight I will flash my comp with both bios an see which is best
With 74 i can reboot the pc normally, i cant understand why you have such an issue? No blue screen or anything? Just a freeze in desktop?
I also noticed that with bios 74 with same room temp, same cpu speed and same vcore my load temps while crunching WCG are about 7C lower than 61D
Do you have the reboot problem only with 74? A bad flash maybe? But with both boards, too much coincidence. Lets wait for more ppl with 74 bios to answer.
Where were the me too reffering?
Try the bios before 74 and see how that runs ..
Mafio: besides the reboot problem, did you get the same bclk with both 44 and 74 bios?
Today i tried to up my Uncore. I always set it at 16x and has worked great (both benching and Linx) up to (21x) 215 bclk with mem at 8x Cas6 or 7 and vtt at +50mv. Trying to set it today at x18 (21x196) i couldnt boot at all. Tried to up vtt to +100mv and i couldnt boot either. Do you have any reccomendations on this? If you need any further info on my system set up or voltages i will provide them asap.
Heres my settings for 4.2ghz on 44 bios. I cant pass any testing besides intel burn test on standard. http://s69.photobucket.com/albums/i70/michowski/bios/
Hi. For 1600 memory speed and 4.2Ghz I doub't you need that much VTT. Try around +100- +125. I also use lower values on VTT and CPU frequency, as your bclk is not that high (200). Go for CPU uncore freq 2x ram speed (3200) and not auto. And some says that you can undervolt your CPU and IOH PLL to around 1.650 and still be stable on those speeds (I use it)... Hope it helps... Regards.
E760S61A is fast, tomorrow i will test BLCK clocking
super-pi 32M // 8.59.672 // 950 @ 3833.5 MHz // KHX 2k cas8 @ 912 MHz 6-6-4-18

Nice Uclk^^
uhm, this old bios S61A (09/17/2009) is good also for BCLK clocking

theres no way i can do this low vdimm at these speed if it wasnt for bios 73/74.. tested the rest.. DUD

lol and if u see the amount of mem i used ( try to do it so u will understand ) how hard it is to use 5518 mb. with the airflow pro led thingy blazing
the new bios is good
btw ignore the pll.. i was just testing it see whether i could boost the glops.
BTW SAE bro
noticed the timings all are at stock.. and dont have that issue that hypers has
to maintain the scaling and timings need to reduce the bandwith by using read to read/write to write thingy to 6 from 4..
this sticks are faster.. i mean way higher bandwidth and slight bump in latency around 39.x compare to hypers running 8-8-8-24 at 1.62v around 37.x

Has anyone seen post code A1? I just put together my E760 with a EK FB block and out of case she boots and in the case it gives code 25 then A1. I tired with a couple vid cards and nothing.
Starting to think it is the 800D giving me problems. I removed the bottom HD cage and ever since it has done this, even with my R2E, but it had a terrible Bitspower NB/SB block on it.
Thanks guys.
