gives me time to save up for a 2fer on the 4870X2 OC runnin' CF , I just sold my VisionTek 3870X2 OC last week didn't want a $ 450.00 dino in me New box . soo i snapped up one of those VisionTek 3870 OC that BestBuy had at $125 Monday :ROTF::rofl::up:
I want a high performance low profile card for SFF computing powa. Something that is stronger/same as 9800GTX with less heat and powerconsumption. And of course, atleast 50% cheaper.
looking at those Crysis benches 1920x1080 should be playlable with 4870x2, assuming they fix multi-gpu scaling
,, put some nice OC and we go 2560
it seems like nordic hardware is convince that 4870/50 has 800SP
i hope thats true, maybe that'' give nv a run, but again i am pretty much locked up at the gtx 280
http://www.amazon.com/Diamond-4850PE...253657&sr=1-59
so after all its 480SP!!
lol:shrug:
edit..just by chance it goes away(only to come back sooner but still....)

i was gonna say "that'll" ... bahh typo
anyway wow!! seems like GTX 280 is the card for DX10 games, but sadly COJ = ATI game, and WiC, Lost Planet are nv games ... so in the end its all about who gets most support fram game developers....sadly ...
as for nordic:

yeah it looks like its 480 from too many sources
like what? agenda
well, google translate suggest that the title is:
"Believe it or not GT200 & HD4800 comprehensive performance comparison"
so i guess we should choose not to? lol
R700 will reign if those charts are true, by a lot
lol change is good though
w1zzard has said that he did not really have any official information from ATi on their cards. He knew there would be 160 shader processors but he didn't know if they were 3D or 5D scalar units, 480 or 800 ALUs in other words. 5D would be logical since that's what has been used in the R(V)6xx series, but most rumours suggested 480 so he assumed 480 and put that in the GPU-Z database. He recently said he will be getting a card soon and will then change GPU-Z accordingly. Also GPU-Z gets a refresh every time a new card is released, this is because GPU-Z is mainly a database and he (w1zzard) has to keep it up to date.
AusPC market in Australia has the 4850 listed for preorder for $258.50 inc 10% sales tax & delivery. Not too bad at all given that store is regarded as being pricey.
Some "new" inq info:
http://www.theinquirer.net/gb/inquir...ormance-posted
Sorry Mate ;). I ment no disrespect, but it that post sounded quite funny.
I now that the graphs you posted are real, Thanks for the info  But it sounded like they were faked and that you admitted to being a bad faker, very disapointed with your own work..
Hmm if those scores are real then 4850 is kinda what I expected but 4870 is only what 10% faster than 4850 at best?! Thats kinda hard to believe.
