I think he cut that by himself. I've had a 570 recently and it didn't have that blowhole.Quote:
Did you cut that top fan hole yourself, or is that a new addition for the 570 Aurora?
He did a pretty good job with it though, it looks like it's really part of the case :)
InfinityNX nice pictures........what camera do you use???
I got the same memory rams ;) Crucial ROCK :D ejjejeje
Welcome to XS Forum ;)
Thank you! I actually use an N95 8GB, but for these pictures, my friend and I used a Nikon D40, since I wanted the pictures to look nice :)Quote:

The only problem I get with the crucial tracers I have is that the blue leds on the bottom don't light up. I think there's a voltage limit on my board or something.
Here's what I am currently running. Its a Koolance PC2-901BW server tower with water blocks for the CPU (AMD Athlon 64fx), Chipset, and GPU (ATI Radeon 9800XT).

koolance = fail
Well believe it or not I know a forum member in Iraq, running an overclocked E6850@3.8ghz and 3 8800GTX cards in SLI on a koolance setup (with one added radiator) and his temps aren't that bad at all... Will contact Gizmo to show some pictures of his (messy untidy) rig (he hates cable management) and some screenshots of temps...
I like how you mounted that top pump megadet.
BTW Unrealer, who is that in your avi? Her eyes have me in a trance.
@InfinityNX: nice setup hex! :up: welcome to XS :)
Yes of course .

MegadetHCl what are those cylindrical things? (also in your avatar)
InfinityNX... Your pics and your rig is just plain amazing. :clap: reminds me of FunfliX's amazing rigs/pics too, you should watercool your 8800GT as well, if I am not wrong...
Plastek, are those real metal coils or just metal looking plastic? If they are metal, where did you get them?
@InfinityNX

Bow to the searching GOD!!!!
Here is the source for his avi:

This thread should seriously be renamed to "Computer :banana::banana::banana::banana:". :D
Very nice rigs everyone! Makes me wanna get my hands on watercooling and never touch air cooling again. :ROTF:

Nice!
The only thing I noticed is the zip tie on the barb of the lower 3870X2.

For those of you using Dye it looks really pretty, but doesnt it end up staining your resevior after awhile?

That's some awesome work there dude!
When you empty your loop you can use vinegar to clean up any residues.
thats realy nice, what temps are you seeing??
Very classy. I'm also wondering about the temps.
@stupengs
That coolant color is frickin amazing. What is it?
Yeah sure thing. Won't be till I get home tonight though:) Forgot to add this:)http://img159.imageshack.us/img159/5...turetl0.th.jpg

waterlogged, that a bad lookin rig, bad ass......schweet....nice work.....
P4rD0nM3, That pic is probably one of the best I've ever seen of a PC, very nice job!
I've just upgraded my cooling to include my 780i chipsets so thought I'd post another few pics :)

Some more shots of my case with the front door open.
looking to replace this with a tagan a+ black pearl. anybody have any comments on that case? :)
Thanks guys, it took a long time (little over 2 yrs), but I finally figured out the best way on this stupid case. Not real happy with temps on the GPU and finding a decent cooler guaranteed to fit could be a headache. Kind of like TR's V2, looks to be best choice so far.
evil, I'm keeping an eye you both yours and Zehnsucht's SG builds, both are looking good so far. :up:
Thanks. Uhm, still dunno if they're normal or not but I'm idling at 30/40 and load it 45/55.
Thanks.
It's just a Swiftech H2O 120 Compact, my components aren't really high-end, hehe.
Thanks.
Here's the first try.

Beautful.
@ jarvo1
with those T junctions supplying water to your chipset loop, especially with it being smaller bore tubing, how do you get ANY flow? Unless I'm missing a hidden pump I think you'd be much much better off with Ys not Ts.. I could see water boiling on your chipset rather than cooling it???
Apologies if I've missed something :)
pron XD XD XD XD
very cool, m8 :up:
Hehe, I also changed the red sata to a black sata.
The end of the IDE cable now ends at the very top instead of bending straight to where it connects too. I think it looks a lot cleaner than that.
Added a extension cable for my Lian Li Card Reader, but I'm having a problem with it right now, hehehe. It's gotten SLOW at reading/writing.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :rofl::rofl::rofl:
To me it seems like having a tube that long the fan would not be able to pull the air through very well...
OMG I love the fan duct. It has made my day :up:
I dont think you're missing anything, I have the T-junctions, 3/8" tubing and only one DDC1 Ultra pump but the flow to the chipsets is fine (using a PA120.2 for the GPU's + chipsets). I could see air bubbles flying through the tubing while bleeding it and my chipset temps have dropped by ~15C compared to the stock cooler which is perfectly fine by me :)
I originally wanted y's instead of t's but 1/2" tubing wouldn't fit on the SB (unless i'm mistaken) and I'm pretty sure nobody makes a y-splitter with one 1/2" and one 3/8" outputs, or if they do you can't buy them in the UK (again, unless I'm mistaken).
This is still only really my first attempt at watercooling and I'm still learning and doing as much research as I can before I buy and mod anything so all your feedback is more than welcome.
:eek: :rofl:
@hotshot100
very amusing.. however one way that really could work is if you bought a load of tubing and put your RAD next to the ac unit. That may well make a huge difference if its super cold air hitting it??
Damn that's a huge res [kinks in the tubing???]. I hope the TT block is working its butt off for you :)
Just a thought, instead of having the dryer hose or even running the rad all the way over to the A/C, just build a water chiller. You already have the A/C, just take it apart, get a cooler and some antifreeze and put together a water chiller. It just seems like you would be better off taking the hose down and just cooling the room.
Just my 2 cents.
Utnorris
your rig needs some TLC bud . . .first . . .get the Thermaltake stuff out of there . . .I had two of those blocks that cracked and leaked in my earlier builds . . .
Next . . . you need to do some serious wire managment and organizing. You have a nice tower (huge) that deserves some love. Check out the Bitspower powerstations for having one psu cable power many peripherals
For those that remember rev1 earlier: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...postcount=8482
http://www.algidpc.com/Retouched/thu...lOpenthumb.JPG
Here is a rev2, not quite complete. Not sure what I think about the blue powder coat I chose. The flash on this camera makes the blue look a little more pale that it actually is. You guys think the outer radiator shroud should be blue also? Other comments? (beside me puting the CPU block inlet on the top, or the ApogeeGTX top non copper) I welcome all comments and suggestions. I'm not liking the blue personally...I like rev 1 better colorwise, although for rev 2 I finally got my tubing, wiring, and such the way I want it.

I love blue, but I think your revision one was all around more appealing.
Rev.1 was much better. Rev.2 just isn't working.
Same here. Prefer Rev. 1
Well at least I'm not alone here in not liking the looks as much.... *sigh*
That's what rev 3 is for!
Hey change is good and when you get sick of it, you'll find motivation to come up with something else.
