Haha thanks man
Great score, but I bet you'll hit the CB pretty soon;) I think these chips in general can't break WR's below -15c or something - HTT limited at that temp. Can't really confirm that atm, as I'm VEEERY new to AM2.
Sweet! Like I said, I could be wrong as I don't have uch experience, but it oculd just as well be a very good chip (which wouldn't be so strange since you've got the record;) )
4150, perhaps slightly above, that's my guess;)
Btw, can you test this chip on air? I want to compare it to my Opty 1222:) I have a feeling it's not very great so I'd like to have some numbers to compare it to. Remember to make some notes about temps if you do this;)
Today I was on the games convention in Leipzig, there was SoF from the award fabrik benching with an X4 9950 BE under LN2 !!! That was great work...3.65 ghz 3dmark stabil with 4x 4850...around 93k in 3dmarks 2003...great work. and no cold bug was seen :D i told him that he has do some validations to get the world record...

exposed on cebit 2002, made in 2001 :)
Athlon64?
wow, thats a super old one
it is not ceramic PCB but normal 40x40mm (1.54x1.54inch) brown PCB used on older clawhammers. Made 2 years before official launch of Athlon 64 CPUs :)
News from me: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=410055
Will test all the other Opterons in the next days...
just tried pushing my 3800+ toledo with a little help of ice - I didn't suppose temperature would do so much :) best screen I had was 3269 @1,648v (saw 3284 but there was BSOD when saving screeshot); 20 degrees less gave me 150 MHz more :)
sadly I don't have any means to run cooler atm :(
Stepping of that toledo ?
Nice fun: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=412022
2nd place....nice cpu but i cant boot with more than 1.74 volts...and i cant see the cold bug :D validation was made at -25c with 1.744 volts...if i could do more voltage than the record will be fall. Stepping was LDBFE 0724 WPAW
Next cpus in the next days are: X2 3800+ toldeo 0650 SPMW, X2 4600+ 0601 XPAW and X2 4600+ 0609 RPAW
All arent good...dont waste your money.
The Chinese chips ALWAYS suck:D So stay clear of the 0616 and the 0618. LBBWE's are usually not so coldbugged, but the only good BW's I've seen have been NBBWE - my LBBWE's suck bigtime.:p:
Old LBBLE's were OK at sub zero sometimes, but I have no idea if 0516 was a good week.
EPBW and DPEW will sucks...best are GPMW, SPMW, APMW, GPAW and some other ones. SPMW was the best in 0516-0520 with the winchester cores.
Found another golden one: X2 4600+ Manchester 3666.93 mhz ---> 3rd place...with ln2 it will be first place i think.
multiplier was 9.5 by the way but here is another shot with multi 9 and more than 400 mhz htt.... 3658.04 mhz.
i think with this cpu i can do some nice superpi benching.
stepping is LDBHE like the other X2 4600+ that i could got over 3.6 ghz....LDBHE has no or a very high cold bug...
nice stunned, looking forward to more :toast:
i think i have to take some special photos of s939.... :D that's the only thing i can do about it. :D no more overclocking for me... my chiller does not run for a minute this year.
go for gold stunned! ;)
I will be first on the hill: next strike: X2 4200+ Toledo world record: 3688 mhz !!!!
that cpu ist crazy...had cold bug but with temps around +6c it will run at its best.
