well I couldnt get 3ghz stable, could it be another memory setting holding me back? when I went to play bf2 the computer would restart, or if I tryed to run 3dmark05 it would freeze during the first test, I tried different max async and read preamble settings but nothing got 3ghz stable, any ideas fellas? I think iam close because it was only unstable when gaming, I used alot of my desktop, like watching videos, browsing the web and it didnt have any problems
Browsing the web is not a stability test
never said it was :rolleyes:Quote:

Yea, if you don't mind:) I'm getting bored with this UCCC, so I'm thinkin of pulling the trigger on some G.Skill 2x1GB modules or some Team group RAM. I wanna see as many results as I can first and then compare the the price/performance. Your G.Skill's rock.Quote:

I just looked on newegg, and the G.Skill HX's caught my eye. They are more expensive, but look like a lot of fun.

If you are wanting to unload your current ram for cheap, please shoot me a PM... ;)
Alright m8, I have a similar setup to you, so I want to ask you a couple of questions about some of your bios settings.Quote:

Also which bios have you found to be the best for you?
EDIT: Just seen your post above.
I have noticed that your using a DFI nF4 Ultra-D mobo and that your using DS/DDS of 7/1. Do you know what I should be using for my Expert as the drive strength ranges from 1-15 (I think).
Here's my CCBBE 0610DPMW,
http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/6...ngprime1rg.jpg
ambient temps when I took this screenshot were 31.8°C, normally full load is around 45-46°C. 2.9Ghz is also prime stable but with these hotter temps I had to clock back cuz I need 24/7 system. 3.0Ghz will boot in windows but can't check yet if I can get it stable, also due to summertemps screwing up my ambients:(
My 0610 stable at 3050MHz.

HOLY CRAP
that ninja was hard to mount. my fingers are all cut up from the thing, it took me well over and hour. iam about iam about 4c-5c lower then i was before idle, and about 9c lower then before load. so now my temps are 34c idle, 52c in dual priming. before i was 38c idle, 62c load.
lol, this thing is touching my 80mm window case fan, and i had to clear my hard drive wires out of the way to fit the 120mm fan on the side of the heatsink
anyway, i'll get back to ocing soon and try to get this stable at 3ghz
how about opteron 170 CCBBE 0610 DPMW? anyone hit 3mhz?
