Its like saying Intel will make its chipsets compatible with AMD. Its just not going to happen. Intel leaves it up to the third party chipset makers like VIA and Nvidia.
On the AMD front, I guess its up to VIA to be the one to provide support for both ATI and Nvidia camp.

Here's another photo and this one has the CPU power regulation naked.

Strong Rivalry here
Stronger rivarly in the graphics card market overall. If ATI cards didn't work in NF2/3/4 boards, it would be a MUCH bigger deal.
Besides both are different interface
Both need 2 PCI-E 8x slots and that's about it.
Nvidia has no such thing as a "Master" card.
And what does that have to do with anything?
Its like saying Intel will make its chipsets compatible with AMD
False analogy since I've been using nVidia chipsets with ATI cards for the last 4 years.
mmm ok
hopefully this power reg setup style will filter down to other enthusiast board makers, life would be so much simpler
Thanks for the linkie to the pic :toast:Quote:

I wish the red on that black was more like pink so it would glow under uv, heh. Even if it stayed the same color and just glowed under uv, that would be cool. xtreme oc'ing with bling factor is cool imo. bling gets the attention, oc's get the props. I always like doing both to my rigs. That being said, I prefer the white board. If not the white board, it should be red pcb with white traces. I want the bling factor! Don't make me spray my board with uv paint! :D
oh cmon Grayskull you must know something about the ETA? :)
I wanna know the ETA too , my DFI SLI-D is getting me mad
I'm willing to guess on the ETA:
ULi SB = late June/early July
ATI SB450 = August
Manufacturers should use the ULi southbridge to get these out the door earlier, and then rev the board when (I should say if) ATI fixes their SB450. But what do I know? :slap:
My will to wait is starting to fade. DFI NF4 + G70 SLI is starting to look bearable and will be available several weeks ahead of Sapphire Pure + R520 Crossfire Combo. I really prefer the ATI one, but after so many weeks without ETA, i am getting weaker by the minute.
Jaded and faded already I'm afraid.
Got myself a DFI and X800XL. The new machine is already setup and this will mean that the X2 has a home when it arrives and means I can play BF2 :D
I'll skip the initial iterations of the G70 and R520..
Hey there, why is your DFI making you mad? Cold boot issues? I have cold boot issues and thats why I am waiting on this board. I wish that they would hurry up and get it out!Quote:

Not yet  this is getting ridiculous.Quote:

ETA is really dependent on Sapphire. ATI and grayskull only provides the chipsets, which they have. Now its up to Sapphire to push out the mobos. Email Sapphire if anyone wants an ETA on the board.
Its up to sapphire now, i have mailed them for info, just waiting for it to come back to me
Thanks bigtoe for your help (as always :toast: )Quote:

I know this is "xtreme" systems and many of you guys wouldnt be interested in what i want to know. But in the bios screen shots theres an "auto tuning" option for the cpu, how good is this feature BigToe?
