i just wish they would give an eta
EDIT: Just for the record, I woudl use NCIX as a way to guage what these will cost. Note the winny 3000+ costing $170. Their pricing blows.

179+ about 20 shipped to Louisiana... although that is almost as far away in the US as you could get... lol.
You have to remember the pricing of the winnies when they first appeared though. The retail boxes were around 200 no?
Remember this is a Retail box, not an OEM.
its a presale so its gonna be out of stock until they get it in.
Is NCIX a reputable vendor? Should I preorder form them or wait? IM SCARED!!! DO I have to pay now?
$20 is a ripoff for shipping, forget them!
^^^ exactly. just wait til newegg and all the other e-retailers have them. the price is sure to drop.
Yea it does seem high, but that is insured and whatnot at least. You also have to remember that they are located in Canada from what I understand(Or do they have a US based warehouse/store?). So for it to go to Louisiana, and cross a border, it really isn't THAT bad.
Ncix is reputable, from what I understand I believe they were one of the first to have pre-orders for the DFI NF4 boards too.
My brain is about to explode... I wonder if the shipping covers Puerto Rico also...
NCIX is reputable I guess. I hate the site myself. Insanly high prices (and yes, I am looking at them in USD) and one of the sloppiest and most difficult to navagate websites I have ever been on. Finding a specific part is a chore on that site. However, for some reeasons, canadians swear by it.
NCIX is the Newegg of Canada.
So I guess AMD DID ship today and the cpu's should arriver in a couple of days possibly?
I just realized that a 3000+ has a too low multiplier for my BH-5... So I guess I'll have to wait for the 3200+ at least. Wish I had good TCCD... :slap:
I find it hard to believe that Canada would get them before the US. My guess is they shipped today, and will arrive tomorrow (arent they shipping from Germany?) and NCIX is just posting a preorder becuase they know they will be getting them soon.Quote:

If only it was a 3200+ I'd pre order... But like they say; Good things come to those who wait.
Bah, not if your using a P3 500mhz with 192MB of ram running XP...then waiting sucks.Quote:
