How is it a bad CPU? It runs fine at stock speeds doesn't it? That's all it was intended to do.Quote:

Here is mine. Still using stock AMD cooler. I am not sure if my memory is tweaked to the max or not. I know that I can't budge on the 2.5,3,3,8 timings and can't get 1T out of my ram but not sure if the other advanced timings could use some tweaking. I'm getting an XP-90 with panoflo and as5 coming to me, hopefully then I can squeeze a bit more out of it. It's 100% stable in all games/folding@home I throw at it. :D

2750 is unreachable. :stick: I'm not impressed with this Venice to say the least. :(
Hi,

Did someone test a 3200+ E6 already?
I have 3000+ LBBLE
DFI nf4 Ultra-;D
2*256MB NItro pc 3600 CL3
gf 6600gtextreme ledetek
Zalman 7700ALCU
BIOS 623-3!
I go to 2817Mhz at 1.776V SUPER PI 1MB stable! http://www.freeweb.siol.net/cpotocar/best2.JPG
Then 2745Mhz at 1.744V super pi 32MB stable! http://www.freeweb.siol.net/cpotocar...32mb-28min.JPG
Max BOOTEBLE freq: 2864Mhz vith 1.776V i don'g get higher with AIR Cooling!
My ram IS in F..K..G they don't go over 210 at CAS 3 at 3v???
Wow, 1.744v to get stable at 2.745Hz
Personally I would prefer a lower vcore on Venice than that...
just oc'ed my 0512 dpbw venice 3000+, to 2.8ghz (well 2799mhz to be exact) with 1.45v, - load temps after 10 hours of prime top out at 41degrees with an xp120 - but cheappy silicone goop until I lapthe heatsink properly at which time as5 will be used. Boosting voltage to1.475 doesnt seem to help to get 2.84 stable, is it worth trying more voltage to see if it can go higher, or would I see only small differences from here. Anyway my ram holds me back (currently on a divider running at 466 at 2.5-3-3-6 timings - but can manage up to about 490 on same timings - result of a mushkin blueline rma - went from utt to mosel chips) an 2.8 is a very nice result anyway, still any advice?

Mine will be here friday. I'm planning to burn it in for a week or so and I'll definitely post some screenies. Don't get your hopes up, this is my first RIG build/OC.Quote:

some testing my new cpu, its on water;)
1.6V but i'll work on it
Well, SVC and NEWEGG fudged up, mobo won't be here til monday, xp-90 on tuesday. The mobo, xp-90, and the venice were all bought within 30 minutes of eachother. Only the chip from ewiz will be ontime, friday, the mobo and HS were both rescheduled for no reason.Quote:

good cpu , I'm sure I can hit 2800 mhz with 1.8vcore, it loves the vcore a little to much :(
Xyus
plz give commments.
Watch the volts Xyrus, thats very high for air, much higher than i run on water.
I know,
otherwise it isn't stable :(
xyus
but 1.8vcore for 30secondsd ain't gonna harm the cpu that much ;)
updated: here's my 0520APMW sPI 32m stable:)

on stock cooling
Hey guys i`ve got a quick question regarding my temps. I put 1,425x113% on my 3200+ @ 2780Mhz , mbm reads 1,55-1,57v it fluctuates :( . Temps on load are 40°-42° on cpu 60+° on pwmic and 42°-44° on chipset. So here comes the questions :) : Should i remove the heatspreader (i`m a little afraid of it cause i`ve never done it before) and second question what can i do do stop vcore flutuations ? I will put a fan near the pwmic to cool it better, 60+° seem a little high, but now tell me your answers ;)
Edit: forgot to mention mb is DFI Nf4 SLI-D
Here's my Venice 3000+ 0517DPMW at 2908MHz@1,5v bios, DFi NF4 Ultra-D and 2*512MB Twinmos Speed Premium PC3200 264MHz@3.4v 2-2-2-5-1T with stock cooler:

Your temps are good. If you remove the ihs, I doubt you'll get more than 2-3 degrees better. That's about all I got. The vcore fluctuating a little is normal. As far as pwm temp, mine never gets above 50 -52, but I've seen others with temps in the sixties. Putting a fan over it should bring the temp down. If you do decide to take the ihs off, some acetone will help soften the sealant, and make it easier to cut.Quote:
