Prepare for San Diego 4000+, 3700+ and 3500+ (!)

Well im intrested in the 4000+ san diego on monarch... OEM version as it seems they would be getting them in earlier.

Thanks OPB, I'm considering cancelling my 4000+ order from monarch computers and order from Sparco if it turns out that they ship tommorrow.

That would be unless you get the unlucky 3700's that were supposed to be speed binned higher, but didn't quite make it. :woot:

What is the difference between the two chips that they have for 3700+
The one not in the link is about 30~ more roughtly

Yes. This is the new San Diego core

The other chip is the old ClawHammer core

Can't understand why the prices here in Norway are so high. I see that a 4000+ Sandy costs 550$ on monarch. You can only guess what it costs in norway! It costs 5800NKR = 943$...
I can almost order two 4000+ SD from Monarch for the same prise.
But my local customs will make me pay the same price if I buy it from another country unless the box is marked as "gift" or "back from repair", the they won't ask any qustions..

First time posting here, looks like the 3700 San Diego is the cheapest one with 1MB L2 cache, will place my order tomorrow and hopefully they still have it!!

Preordered 3700+ from Sparco on Friday at 1:00 PM EST. At that point I was number 57 out of 60. The person I spoke with did say that there was no gaurantee that they would have them on the 18th. Good luck to anyone that preordered after then.

I got just got an email stating that the ETA for my 3700 was 4-22. I may not have gotten in on the first batch though, but for anyone else ordering now, its going to be at least 4-22.
