sucks :(
Just talked to the company I bought the ram at, and they say that they have gone bankrupt! So now I have to send it to Twinmos instead :stick:Quote:

Im really regretting not putting 4 sticks aside for backup. They were so cheap...UGH.
I do have a local dealer with Twinmos 1A4T sticks, mid $50's each, I think I may take my machine in to "test" a couple sticks for compatibility :D and buy a pr for backup.
They never had AA4T though, so sad.
why those twinmosses dye allthe time? i have atm aa4t 2x512 they are looking nice 250mhz 2-2-2-5 @3,3v . cant undetstand why they just die?
No biggie, just SOME of them die. But if they live they live for a long time. It's just some fail, and for safety having set aside some backups would have been a wise decision....especially when they were $54 a stick at TheEgg :fact: :nono:
www.cheeep.de but I just talked to twinmos in Holland yersterday, and they would be happy to replace the dead stick.. So atm my stick is on its last journey which goes to the Dutch fields of dead ram, also knows as the Twinmos Department in Holland :fact:Quote:

Yes, AA4T are the UTT based on new run of the CH5 chips.
While 1A4T are the UTT based on new runs of the BH5 chips.
Rumor had it the new run of CH5 had some improvments over the original CH5, while the new BH5 was just another run of the same "good stuff" BH5 chips.
If they dont BREAK on you, the AA4T UTT (CH5) are without question THE BEST there has ever been. 4x 512M 3.1Volts 255Mhz 8,2,2,2.0 for me in DFI NF4 SLI-DR.... and that is WITH the FK'd up Vtt issue. But the UTT (CH5) have had some premature death issues, I have 8 sticks here, and 5 are perfect, 3 have "issues" where they freak out with voltage over 3.1V now.
I cant begin to understand why they didnt CRANK out a ton of the new CH5. The best ram ever made. It will require DDR2-1000 to TIE, not beat but TIE this ram in actual use.
AM2 chip and switch to DDR2 is utter folly. Oh wow, AM2 will support the equivalent of PC3200 (DDR400) "STOCK"!!! Imagine that, a true breakthrough, wow, yippee.
