There will be significant differences at the component level. I can't give you specifics but I know for a fact that Abit R&D was/is working hard to make it better. There will be NO voltage increase options although I'm still hopeful that they will change their mind...

Back in stock @ Newegg...

Now how are we supposed to know if they're the 4-hole version? I doubt Newegg's gonna take new pics when the "holy" boards come in :)

Hope yours works better than mine did. It sucked with my 2800+ and Prometeia. best OC I could get was around 300mhz and with the KD Prime at 2870mhz is not a problem. Guess which board I am using now.:banana:

Isn't this a newer revision than yours? Hope they fixed it! How high did voltages go...anyone perfect vmod yet?

Oh yeah there is a Vmem mod out plus a Vcore, I think. I know for sure there is a Vmem mod.

EDIT: I found the mod and it is one of the difficult ones. It uses a Winbond IC with the leg spacing ultra close. It will take a precision eye, hand and soldering iron to do the Vmem mod.

This NF7-S in retail right now is the same as mbrocks. The new revision is not expected until the end of the month as confirmed by ABIT.

All I can confirm right now is that the boards available on Newegg and other retailers do NOT have the 4holes on them. I have not received any information regarding the "HOLY" version yet. I was HOPING they would arrive by the end of this month, however early January just to be safe. :)

Can anyone answer about all the N2 boards experiencing bios problems. Some die after saving changes and taking hardware with it. Any grumblings detected from other forum threads??

CRAP!!!! I don't want it now and Newegg will only exchange for same board!
I should pay more attention...thought this was the revision.

Well....The best board I have right now is the KX7333R with volt mods and I am running the KX7....KD7...KR7A....KT7A and soon the NF7.

I might just pop the KX7 and xp2700 in the Prommie and wait it out! :mad:

yeh, I wanted the Holy NF7-S as well. But its just not here quick enough.

I plunked down $132 at Newegg for the Epox ( :( ). I'll probably sell it off later on for the Abit board if it ends up as good as we expect.

a lame company like Chaintech has the holes and Abit doesn't...
