700 mhz too
WTF
anyone got a reply off zzf as to how they'll handle this whole business? after all it is fraud imo. ordering 325/1100 and paying for it, then getting 325/700. that's not worth 300 bux. maybe 250

you agree to that by ordering
everest says its gddr3 memory, but is that because the bios of this names the card as nvida 6800 gddr3 etc etc, or can this program actually detect the type of memory?
maybe flashing works?
flashing helped someone, but then another person on bleeding edge flashed it and it didn't help, so I dunno. I think evga will do something about it if zzf doesn't. evga lists on their own spec sheet that it has 1.6ns gddr3 and it runs at 1100mhz. If they don't replace our cards, then they will have alot of unhappy customers however sad thing is I doubt they will care, I just will never buy an evga card again. If I were not going to get this I wanted to get a bfg 6800 gt, and I found one for only 350 too, which makes it all the better, but my second choice would have been an evga. So I respect them as a company, I hope they will not let us down.
I wonder where newegg got their listed specs of 325/700 from?
aparently this message is too short so ignore this
edit: oh, oops.. didn't realize my post was the last one anyways, shoulda just edited it. I feel bad for double posting now lolQuote:

im gonna see how high i can get this thing though! ut2k4 bbl!
so ... i guess i'm waiting before running havoc now and hitting my head on my desk, or my keyboard or anything else close by. anyone who has a 325/700 card please report back if this bios (i guess it'll be soon enough available to the wide masses :D ) really does what evga promises.
sorry for going ape on all this business, but i don't want to make my friend go through the process of rma and all and i was fearing i had to... oh well. RELIEF!. man the suspense is getting to me ;)
@kobalt, i'll be looking forward to seeing your results :toast:
heres some results...it looks as if with me the bios was just screwey? 325/1150 so far playing ut2k4 no artifacts
edit: 1150 is the max without some articfacts
gonna try with the core now
Wait, did you overclock it to 1150, or did you flash it and oc it? Cause mine will not overclock past 800mhz without artifacting
overclock... did not flash
well mines different. I just flashed it to a ultra with the 1.4v good news I can overclock the core to 448 and I get no artifacts, at 450 it fails the test? lol, I'm sure thats bs or something, but abd news is, the memory is no ebtter at all. I ran the HL2 video stress test at 448 and afterwards the temp is only 49c and the fan speed is at 60% :). I really love this core on mine, but... the memory takes all the glory of the nice core away.
is your memory ddr3? download everest and check under display and then gpu
awdhawuihd
mines 325/700 as well
can someone link me to the ultra BIOS so i can see if it works?
edit: my 6800 says it is A1,16x1,6vp is that correct? i dont really know anything about nvidia

The flash kit is the easiest way, and has all the bios preloaded on there.
yeah thats right but hey, can anyone with the 325/700, tell me their temps. even with the 1.5v gt bios at 460 core I never saw it above 57c. I'm not sure if mines innacurrate or just dosn't run hot for w/e reason.Quote:

ok, well it says I do have gddr 3. You think maybe one of the molex connectors isn't working right? Or would it then just not work at all? It had to of come clocked at 700 for a reason. And so far, besides one person on bleeding edge, I'm the only one who cannot overclock it to 1100mhz or more, and the other guy didn't even flash his bios, so he still has some hope, but I'm thinking he's the same as me.
yea u gotta search like everest utility :)
my temps are around 54 too btw...the temp will go down a lot when you replace the TIM. the heatsink is not very warm, but the gpu is reported at 55ish. i saw the tim connection to the gpu by looking at the gfx card a certain way, and WOW is it disgusting. its totally lopsided and theres a crevice in the middle. not to mention its pretty thick. maybe ill mess with it later, cause i have a 5 day weekend, but it was a horror to install...this things so god damned long
wheres this program where i can screw with the fan speed? and is there a way to flash from windows? i do not want to install a floppy or worry about installing dos :(
You don't have to install dos, just get that floppy made by.. someone, over on bleeding edge, works really well. And... whats a tim... sorry for the stupid question lol
TIM = thermal interface material
IE. artic silver

should i get the 1.4v or 1.5v BIOS?
im using stock cooling
well hows ur card running temp wise? I'd recommend the 1.4v and then the 1.5v if you want to, your cooling should be fine either way.
Did you get a zzf card (325/700)?
I unplugged my left molex (if I unplug the right one and leave the left in, it just give sa really really high pitched beep and no display). But I'm running it fine, no diff. no artifacts or anything. Maybe the left one supplies some of the ram voltage? I am using the gt bios however, and the gt only has 1 molex, anyone think this is the reason for that? I'm worried about how kanuuk(sp?) said he lost one of his when flashing it to a gt. But if this is my problem, my card has always had it, and I first flashed to an ultra before trying to gt bios anyways.
yeah its a gimped ZZF 325/700
im at 52GPU and 39 ambient <-- EEK!
is the 52 load or idle? Well dosn't really matter, ur ambient is kinda high, my case is open though. But you should be fine even with the 1.5v Lemme know how ur memory oc's. Before and after you flash ur bios.
