Tried single stage to get that lousy cache frquency up a notch, but ended up being stuck trying to post 2500 cl8 for a hour before I gave up. Seems like cpu doesn't clock ram as good on cold.
Good start keep pushing.
Cold shouldn't impact negatively on memory oc, it should only improve it a bit. Definitely try again.you need that uncore to go sub 6
I don't know how you guys are running BBSE on Haswell, so much fail for me, and the worst type of fail, the "I'm not even going to boot" sort of fail:p:
I think sub 6 can be done with 4.7-4.8 uncore, but you are right, the higher to 1:1 the better. Looking forward to seeing some cold results from you and your beastly BBSE:up:
Looks like Zen might come up this weekend for some benching. He is going to bring the beastly air BBSE kit of his, to test under cold on a few different boards. We will have the M6E, OCF's, Giga OC and possibly MPower Max if CL3P can bring it, should be an awesome time hunting for sub 56's:yepp:
last screens for this half of the kit.

Sleeping and eating. . . . check
Thanks Ron, I would love to get together the next time I am in Texas especially since Mikecdm lives so close, I figure we could have a mini North Texas meet lol.
I am sure the humidity is not so bad as down in Corpus Christi say, but it is a pleasure to bench out in California, where relative humidity is 34 % on a bad day and 16 % on a good day:)
I think we need to organize a West Coast event, it has been a long time since there was anything in the US and this blows my mind, as I am sure we are not a small market.

Sadly I can only load settings with ddr3 2500 on + degress. This gives me anywhere between 5-30 minutes before mobo gives nasty reset upon reboot or crash, then its game over and shut down compressor :P

Are the 2500C8 Tridents the demonstrator kit from Computex kit from a couple of years ago or you actually managed to find them in retail?
Got it from gskill 2 years ago. Don't think it's retail on the market.
^Fair enough ;)
we have awesome cards this generation, too bad intel screwed up the retail haswell big time....
Have faith Alex-Ro :P When those Costa Ricas hit the market... Well at least that's my hope!
Well crap and here I thought I had a decent 4Ghz time:p:
