I saw this question posted back on page 2, but didn't see it answered.
Will Swiftech be making a 140mm Radiator with a built in reservoir, to use in combination with the Apogee Drive II?
we might very well do this, we are working on 140mm radiators.
Is there any info about the swiftech helix fans? I want to use them in my new build :D!
A Helix in the wild? Personally I need about 11 for my build.
Quick question regarding Apogee Drive II - do those inlet and outlet rotate? Looks like they do, comparing two photos, with and without tubing and compression fittings...
yes they do. They're no true swivel though but you can lock them in three different positions.
Any updates? :)
I really would like to know how that heatsink would increase the total height of the Heatsink + pump + top combo :)
I'm doing some progress on my build and would be great to know it in first hand!
Would it be possible to use the heatsink as the "base" to fix the pumps to the floor or midplate for example?
Thanks :)
I approved the heatsinks on Friday. in terms of height they're precisely the same as the single MCP35X-HS.
It is compatible with a 80mm fan also, and shipped with the same vibration dampening system.
any news on the apogee drive 2?
Production is almost done, we should be able to start shipping within 3 weeks.
Stephen, when does the dual bay reservoir come out?
Also, I have one mcp35x, I need to buy a second. Do I also need to buy the top to work with that reservoir, or does it come with it?
Maelstrom is compatible with 0,1 or 2 pumps. directly compatible with MCP35X and MCP35X2.
ETA is around 4-5 weeks at this time.
I get that, but in order to use 2 pumps, do I have to buy the 35x2 top?
Yes, of course.
Dsmn, that changes things, thatwill be 56.00 for the top, plus another 60 (I am guessing) for the reservior. That's 110, as opposed to a $50 solution from XSPC.
Well it's definitely a higher end solution: CNC front panel, lighting, LCD temperature monitor, compatible with 1 or 2 pumps, or none. It means folks with MCP35X and MCP35X2 will just need the reservoir. Comparable solutions (although, those are for 655's): DD mansoon: $135, Koolance 452X2: $135. but as usual we'll make sure it's priced right.
LOL! well, if the holes line up with these tool less PITA drive bays, that alone will be worth it!!
It fits the HAF932 just fine (tool less drives on one side, screw hole on the other).
Looking foward a Apogee Drive II, insane for a iTX build :D
