Finally Cascade made it home but ... :/ Darn UPS dropped the cradle and i was very worried as i saw oil all over the cradle and the Cascade , the whole wooden box was broken and they had to use plastic wrap to maintain the cradle box together , the UPS guy asked me if i want it to return it because damage done by UPS was clear/obvious and i said no , i took the risk and kept it home , quick test reveal the cascade its working at -104c ~ 106c iddle no load , need to test it under load with a cpu , before the cascade broke it used to iddle -110c ~ -114c , and under full load holding close to 300w settle at -105c ~ -102c. Will post testing results in a few hours to see how it goes ( cross fingers ).

Well it seems to be working ok Angelo, just a small drop in temps is all which won't really matter.

Hi M.Beier , no i did not refill the oil drained , i took the risk and ran the cascade just as it is, running fine since it got here i have tested the Cascade for over 12 hours running flawlessly , i guess it leaked just a little bit of oil and did not affect performance too much.Quote:

Darn my fears just came true :( , nightmare again and thousands of us dollars down the drain , Cascade has a leak and was damage due to improper packaging by sdumper , im very very upset with him , i paid him a lot of money to fix it ,for shipping both ways and i paid him to build a strong safe cradle but the cradle was very poor made and badly package. , im very upset and dissapointed in sdumper , poor communication from him and he evades my emails and PMs giving me lame excuses :mad:
Well re-tested the cascade today and is completely Busted :( , its leaking oil and it looks like there is a gas leak somewhere , frustration is all i feel right now. Cascade temperatures today will stay at +58c and it wont move with both stages on for 2 hours. Well i guess thats the end of the Blue Cascade , i wont fix it anymore and it will go in my garage to be disassmble for parts. Please Mods close this tread this Cascade does not exists anymore , its dead. im still waiting for sdumper for an answer , but he is in hiding mode not answering emails or PM , beware of this Builder guys *sdumper) Scott , i have a plenty of bad experiences with the way he carries out bussiness , the arrogant attitude and the non existant communication with his clients. Im done with sdumper , he wont see one cent from me ever again.

I'm 46 and don't have time for this nonsense! If you have a damaged unit then a claim needs to be filed immediately for a full refund on the shipping and the insurance price of $1750 which it was declared for.
Send me an email so I can get the paperwork started. You just hit the lottery because not only will you get a full refund from UPS but also the full value of the cascade.
Again use my work email because I dont read the forums like I used to.
