what can do this multiswitch, did you play with it already?
i understand plain on\off through the front panel or win gui, it's clear.
perhaps, i may set some order of switching using its vb scrips, but will it work standalone without windows loading?
also, may i set swithes depending of temperature or pump rpm, so that would work without windows too?

I've not played with it yet, but have a pretty good understanding of what it is capable of. My needs will be relatively simple. It's not a standalone device though. Well, there is a version with manual switches on it, but mine is strictly software based. If you're looking for more specific control, maybe the Aquaero would fit your needs better. It can run without windows once it is programmed. If you have more specific questions, send Shoggy a PM. He's the go to guy for Aqua Computer information on these boards.

Yes, that's why I am asking. I plan to get Aquaero but can't decide do I need multiswitch or not. I did ask Shoggy on other forum but did't get answer. I did read manuals and tried aquasuite demo. So you are the last who can answer :)
What advantage brings multiswitch comparing with standard hardware rheobus, just an option to manually switch through the software or more 'intelligent' features? Or how do you personally plan to use it?

So, yes, it can act as a rheobus. The outputs are switchable and dimmable. You can use scripts to trigger certain actions based on the conditions you choose, and I would consider that intelligent. I'll be using mine to control zoned lighting and power/reset fucntions for the main system. The Aquaero should be able to handle all the other system functions, like fan and pump control.
